★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, was there on Wednesday September 1st 2021. Was sleeping over at Carolyn Beach Resort and stopped at the Tavern for dinner. Everybody was kind, the Owner was smoking pork for a cathering event on the weekend, OMG it smelled good! Wished it was on the menu that day. We chatted about smoking as I am new to this, he gave me a few pointers that will come handy...no I did not get his recipe for the rub, No Chef would share that and its ok loll. Had the Angus Burger and a few beers. They do off sales (now permitted by Law) which came handy since the LCBO had closed just a few minutes before I rolled into town. Dont miss out if in the area, worth the small detour off the 17 in Thessalon. If in the area again, you can be sure Im stopping by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very happy with our experience. Wing night was a steal and the house specialty dusting was perfect. My husband and I both ordered the panzo, and the menu says it is the size of a football. It fails to mention that they mean a CFL football!

We landed in Thessalon around 5:30 after riding through rain and hail most of the day, only to find that apparently there was nowhere to eat dinner. Fortunately we found out about the Sinton Tavern and Restaurant and took a stroll “downtown” to try our luck. It didn’t look like much from the outside and signage was lacking, but boy, did that all change once we got inside.
Do yourself a favour and get off the highway (like, about 30sec) to discover this great place for yourself!

It is a small town Mom and Pop restaurant. I didn't even think to check out the menu because I found out, only after the fact that they had chicken parm as their Special. Next time.
