Quiet trail sandwiched between The Grind and BCMC. Not well marked and involves one short scramble near the top but the scramble rewards with a wonderful private lookout!

We went on a Sunday so it was very busy and hard to find parking. Any fitness level can do this hike and the view of Deep Cove and the end is beautiful. Go early morning so it's not so crowded.

It's an awesome trail to climb up Grouse Mountain

This is not the Grind, BCMC, Simic, Skyline, or Larsen. This unmarked trail travels up the ridge between the BCMC & Grind starting at approximately the 1/3 mark. It has a steep section with scrambling, exposure, & possible rockfall from above. The reward is the view from the bluffs. Downclimbing is not recommended. Gloves are recommended.

We did the grind on a weeknight to avoid the crowds. It was a solid workout, definitely not a social walk. The oBservatory at the top is great with amazing views and good food. We spent a few hours up there wandering around, especially around the grizzly bear enclosure checking out Grinder (giggity) and Coola. You get some great views of mt baker from up there as well that I've unsuccessfully tried to capture in my photos below. We took the gondola down ($15), more greta view of the city on the way down.

Had a great time.... The grind wasn't easy yet I just breathed took small steps and didn't look up.. The others people were so friendly and helpful. I felt really accomplished as it was my first climb.

One of the most sought after hiking destinations, so it was obviously packed. The flint and feather trail is quite challenging and takes an expert to navigate the path. We were lucky to have met a group of people who hike this trail every week and tagged along with them. Once you get to the top, there’s a restaurant and other fun stuff to explore.

A bit difficult to find, no real directions but once found the trail is easy to follow. There is some climbing to do (nothing too engaging but about 10meters high). A clearing in the trees added to the steepness of the terrain will allow you to witness the most incredible view of Vancouver. It was so much better than the view you get from the top, I didn't bother taking pictures there. A must do in my opinion.
