The service was very good, the food ... meh.
I had the Baked Ham & Mushroom Involtini, which incidentally was found under their, "Flame Signatures".
An nteresting dish on paper, but pretty uninspiring in my mouth. The mushrooms were not seasoned well and had too much moisture left in them, which made each bite watery. The ham was off a roll and did not have any carmelization, so the flavor wasn't developed at all. Way too much creme-based sauce.
And the coffee was Tim's strength and flavor.
Could have been a new cook or just an off day ... I'll give it another shot, but when a restaurant is competing with the likes of "Toast" for a slice of the St Albert Breakfast market, they better come to the table with better than what I had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this is absolutely my favourite place to eat! everything is made fresh to order, including beautiful crispy naan or bread for their amazing paninis! there is freshly cut cripsy vegetables in nicely dressed salad, no bottled sauces!! i've had chowder, chicken soup, minestrone, naan, chicken parmigiana, signature shrimps, bruschetta trio, chicken piccata, chicken khorma, grilled shrimps, cordon bleu and can say, that every single thing was delicious, beautifully presented made with love! definitely will come back there whenever i'm nearby!! very unique place, rare to see these days...
update: 03/2021 i went for a breakfast and it was super. soft egg benny with salmon hash and fruits. eggs were nice and soft, lots of salmon, house made hollandaise, crispy hash and freshly cut fruit... that's how it's done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove past this restaurant many times and finally made a reservation. Our babysitter couldn't make it so we took our 1 and 4 year old out with another couple. The food was amazing and service was great also the price was very reasonable. The menu selection was unbelievable and they were amazing with the kids

We’ve recently moved locations and still have cravings for their delicious East Indian food - we made a special order just last week! The team is amazing and so helpful, Abi and his team took care of us! Love love love Flame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate at Flame Kitchen, St. Albert tonight and it was excellent! We’re a fussy crew and the food was superb. Had East Asian and Italian meals all of which were great. Good beverage choices too. Wonderful service and a clean nice ambiance added to a very fair and reasonable price. 10/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First Visit Since Renovation and Very Impressed. The restaurant is nicely appointed with an air of sophistication. Tables/booths are nicely spaced. We (3) tried the Lamb Rogan Josh, The Indian Combo with Butter Chicken, Dal and Veggies, the Minestrone soup of the day and the Veg. Samosas. All were tasty, delicious and well presented. Among the best we have tasted. Looking forward to our next meal there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food at a great price. Our hostess, Sue, made an extra effort to make us feel welcome by bringing a free dessert to share when we weren't sure what it was.
I had the beef spare ribs and pick 3 for $11, they were all fantastic. I would recommend the sausage selection on the appetizers, both the sausage and sauce it came with were great. All of our dishes came with amazing hand done presentation to make it visually appealing as well. We will definitely be back.
