β β β β β Aggressive and unethical sales tactics, poor customer service and itβs obvious that some of the trainers care more about profit rather than people. Also, in some of the group classes theyβll take photos and videos of you for marketing material, without consent.
The location, equipment and sanitation is nice but I prefer good vibes so Iβll likely switch to a different gym

β β β β β I am taking this company and everyone who works for them to court. They did something very bad. They revoke your contracts unjustly and unfairly and they don't pay you back the fees that you pay.
You have no recourse or appeal. You cannot even talk anybody about it. They will send you an email and that's it. This is utterly unacceptable. People be ware of this.
This is not the same old Fitness World, this is a scam. Fitness World used be very loyal and respectful towards their members. You are using the name and reputation of Fitness World but you are only a scam. You are not offering any loyalty to even your oldest members!!!!!

β β β β β Fitness World is one of the best facilities I have ever trained at and had the pleasure to be employed with. The staff is friendly and incredibly motivating, knowledgeable of fitness and the facilities, and keep things clean and safe.
Great atmosphere, as well as good training area! There are many different types of equipment to pick from. The gym is quite nice! This is a gym i would recommend to my friends!

β β β β β Beautiful, clean and big gym. Amazing view of the Lions Gate Bridge from cardio space. All the staff are just lovely! So welcoming, fun and helpful!
Gym can be pretty busy at peak times but itβs spacious enough you can social distance. They are great at following covid guidelines, all members are also really respectful. I feel safe here.

β β β β β This review is for personal trainer - Darya at the Longsdale location. I have been working with Darya on building muscle strength and stability for about two years. Darya is very knowledgeable about all body muscle groups and how to work on each specific muscle. She also develop a serious golf specific trainings to help building my body for tournament golf. When we trained, she paid great attention to the form to ensure I worked on the muscle that each exercise intended. I've been through quite a few trainers in the past 10 years and Darya is definitely the Best. I am so thankful to have her as my trainer! Very professional ~ highly recommended!

β β β β β This is not a gym for everyone. The manager promised to cancel my membership after getting off of the phone with him and I found out two months later that it was not cancelled. I had a complaint about misconduct within this facility and it was thankfully addressed by the manager via a phone call. However, this is not the gym or location to go to if you are someone who goes to the gym to increase positivity and health. You will likely just be another membership number.
There are other gyms just blocks down from this establishment that happily and kindly accept clients. Do yourself and this community a favor and spend your time and money there instead, and do not support this gym, its employees, or its subpar upkeep. It will only cause you more problems. This is not just a review from a single person, but from a collective few who share negative experiences with this facility.
Edit: After posting this review the first time, the manager reached out immediately and has cancelled my membership for me. He provided me with a proper apology for my negative experiences and is trying to help me resolve my outstanding issues with fitness world (will update if all gets resolved). He clearly has a passion for this gym and is a helpful person. However, I still stand by my review and advise future gym-goers to look for a different gym to go to.

β β β β β I donβt usually do reviews. Maybe I do but not a lot, anyways, they deserve a review but a really honest one.
The customer service in north Vancouver can improve, I had some miss understandings with the staff, but Iβll say that in general they did their best to help and handle the situation.
The person at the front desk could have been more assertive and empathic with the issue I had, but he did his best at the end, and as one of them said, we are humans and we arenβt perfect.
At the end they made me feel like they did care about me as a customer.
Iβll say the gym is nice, clean, and has more than enough equipment to workout.

β β β β β Best gym ever. I signed up 6 months ago and I've been going to the gym four times a week since then. Andy is incredibly nice and did a great job informing me about registration. Kash at the front desk helped me on my first day, and he still remembers me by name and asks how I'm doing regularly. I've been doing two personal trainer sessions a week with Arman, and he's incredible. Arman is very nice and he always makes me feel welcome. He is constantly giving me tips to improve my form and he motivates me to work my hardest. He checks in with me to see how my workouts went, and he listens to my concerns and modifies the workouts to suit my current goals. The gym facility is very nice. The machines are new and the gym is full of many dumbbells, plates, and machines. The facility is clean and all the other members are respectful. Since joining I've seen incredible changes. My goal was to gain muscle, and I've gone from 154 lb to 171 lb in the last six months while roughly maintaining a 6% body fat thanks to Arman's workout and nutrition plans. I feel great, and I'm motivated to keep working hard thanks to the amazing facility and great staff. I highly recommend everyone to sign up here, and to take classes with Arman.
