β β β β β Still a very new member, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful as they gave a tour and checked in during our first workout. Great variety of equipment for cardio, strength, and functional fitness. Multiple squat racks, free weights, and enough cleaning stations to feel safe. Only suggestion would be another deadlift platform, but really, you can never have too many of those.

β β β β β This gym is pretty legit. And for the price... It's very legit. There's a big weights/machine room (w/ punching bag), a conditioning room, a training room (think turf, ropes, jump boxes and such) and a pool!?!? Sign me up. Everyone is really friendly and the gym goers seem nice enough. I recommend checking it out if you're in the Burnaby area.

β β β β β I'm new to this gym and wish I joined sooner! Twice as many squat racks as Fitness World, at least 3 leg press machines, deadlift platform, AND a hack squat machine. I never have to hunt for free weights, space to move, or a bench. Staff and members create a friendly, clean environment with excellent covid protocols that folks seem respectful about following. It's affordable and feels more "grown-up," comfortable, and no-nonsense than any gym I've belonged to.

β β β β β I really love Fitness 2000, their staff takes great care of the patrons and they make sure the equipment and area is clean and sanitized. They've really stepped up things since Covid and I really appreciate all the work they've done to keep us healthy and safe.

β β β β β I have been going to the gym more than 14 years and is the best place to stay in shape and enjoying everything that they offer. There is a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Awesome and big weight room, cardio room, yoga room, and so many other areas to use while you are here. Super adorable and looking forward to exercise and enjoy more years to come.

β β β β β Been going here for the last 4- 5 months. Place is a hidden gem, equipment is plentiful, monthly rate is amazing and patron safety spares nothing. Not to mention the incredible and friendly staff. For those who are concerned about safety, the gym has a strictly enforced cleaning policy after use, there are cleaning stations and supplies everywhere you look, all cardio equipment is walled off from the cardio equipment beside it and the racks are free weights stations are spaced out. Additional fans for ventilation and air flow have recently been installed, The staff patrol and wipe down and disinfect equipment when it is not in use with a high frequency( they are not just sitting around). Mandates/guidelines and reduced capacity limits are enforced( so you may be turned away or asked to use the secondary smaller gym while the main gym is at capacity). The staff are also always willing to help, be it with form checks or a spot. Other patrons who are regulars here also create a very welcoming environment. If you are looking for a gym that is affordable, safe and has a welcoming old school feel you probably wont find better than fitness 2000.

β β β β β Although Iβm not a member, I was very impressed with the intro by Ross. Super friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable. No BS pushy sales tactic.
Maybe Iβm a bit spoiled, but the place is a bit grungy so it wasnβt for me. I am sensitive to smoke and walking by the bar there was a lot of second hand smoke.
I can see how Fitness 2000 offers a lot of value and community feel. I love the vibe and wish them continuing success.
