★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live on the North Shore. Every year I get my sockeye salmon here because it is the freshest, best quality fish for the best price with the nicest people. They changed hands this year and the same is still true. Worth braving the Ironworkers on a weekend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regent Fish was recently bought by new owners JoAnne and Jacob. They have been great. The store is clean and well stocked. The fish had been excellent quality at a great price. We also go there for their wonderful locally sourced eggs. The best we’ve ever had. We will be loyal customers forever!

Owner of the company Cory reached out and apologized about the situation. This showed the company actually cares about customer satisfaction. I’m happy with the level of customer service and will give this place another shot.

Clueless person working the phones. I called to preorder live spot prawn at 11:40am for pickup the following day before their 1pm cutoff. The person even explained that they provide ice for transporting the shrimp home.
The next day, I called before leaving my house (in New West) to see if my order was ready for pickup. The guy was clueless and said they didn’t have any record of my order. He questioned if I was calling the right location. Then all of a sudden he “found” my order written in for Friday. I would have not made an order for Friday because I work that day.
Glad I didn’t waste my fuel or money here. Had to cancel my dinner plans. Will take my business elsewhere. They need a better system for taking orders over the phone. Better to go directly to Steveston to get live spot prawns.
