★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and efficient stylists. I usually get a Cesar cut so nothing complicated there but nonetheless it is always up to par they even trimmed my beard when asked. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes and with the tip a basic haircut comes to 20 bucks always friendly and polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in today for a new haircut. A young indigenous woman (sorry don’t remember her name) cut my hair into an inverted bob from a long shag. She did a FANTASTIC job. She asked the right questions and was super friendly. Overall a delightful experience was excellent. Will be back to see her for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband went for a haircut here on Saturday. On Sunday he had to go for a haircut somewhere else to fix the mess they made at First Choice. We have always gone to First Choice, been to this particular location a couple times previously. We don’t have high expectations, just expect a simple haircut at low cost. The hairdresser who did his hair on Saturday could not do a simple men’s cut. Side burns were trimmed to completely different lengths. There were spots with a sudden length change of at least a centimetre. On one side she went really high with the clippers, while the other side seemed to be blended between the shorter side length and longer top length. It looked like he let a child play with clippers on his hair. He said she did his hair one handed and spent more time looking out he window than looking at his hair.
I feel bad for the other hairdressers who work there, I don’t have any complaints about them, but the salon will certainly start to lose business if they let this woman, who clearly doesn’t know how to cut hair, continue to work there. They lost 4 customers for sure as our family will never go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had a trainee cut my hair. She asked for help because I said I was unhappy with the cut. After getting some good pointers from her senior she proceeds to herd me out of the chair before doing anything herself and finishing it proper. Worst experience I’ve had so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I seem to have gotten a good haircut and colour however it would’ve been really nice if they would’ve been able to style your hair after the fact so you can see what it looks like. They didn’t have any equipment to do loose curls so I basically walked out and had to go home and do my hair… Which is not the experience I was looking for. I will not go back this is not a full service salon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience with the haircutter she was super nice I dont know her but she is indigenous and was telling me about her daughter and stuff she was supper nice and when I said just a trim I wanna grow my hair she did exactly that she was super nice and I stress so much about how short my hair was and with her it was was more reliving
