Amazing Service! I inadvertently spilled olive oil one of my most prized pieces of furniture. A full- grain leather bench, made in the likeness of a pommelhorse. Very cool piece and definitely one of a kind. As soon as the accident took place, I started looking for who I could call to get it fixed. Every shop I called gave me the run around. But when the folks at Sandalman leather picked up, not only were they empathetic, but you could tell immediately that these guys were the real deal. I immediately took an uber to their shop where they calmed me down and told me step by step, how they would go about getting the stain off the bench. But they made no promises, only said they would do their best. Without a doubt, it looked pretty bad. And they told me it might take a couple of weeks of hard work to get done. I paid a deposit and left the bench for them to do their magic on a Saturday. On Tuesday, they simply sent me a text with the progress on the bench. WOW!!! They had saved it completely!!! EVERY STAIN WAS GONE!!! Took them only a week to fix it, and it came back looking even better than before. I was so grateful and so happy for all the work they had done. Highly recommend them !! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Gift of a lifetime! For years my wife has kept the English schoolbag she used as a child. It was soiled and mouldy (and not real leather), but it had strong sentimental value. After cleaning, the smell of mould remained, and the bag was too small to be of any practical use. So Cory suggested he remake the bag in leather, preserving the look but making some important modifications to ensure it would be suitable for everyday use. He added a pocket for a laptop and a zippered compartment for a cellphone or passport. He fashioned an arrangement of straps that allows the bag to be converted easily for use as a backpack, a shoulder bag, or a carrier-style sling bag. The final result reflected tremendous care, innovation, and craftsmanship, and my wife, needless to say, was thrilled to have a bag that is at once stylish, practical, and perfectly reminiscent of the schoolbag she used as a child. Cory's enthusiasm for the project and the pride he took in the work were evident, and we couldn't be more pleased with the whole process. Thank you, Cory!

Brought in my Rudsak coat since the zipper got jammed and I lost a bunch of the teeth on it. Went to a normal seamstress but since the zipper was lined with leather she suggested finding a leather repair shop. Sandalman did a fantastic job replacing the zipper. I can hardly notice any work was even done to it, pretty much good as new. Extremely fast service as well, I was expecting to wait at least a week or two but it was done in just a couple of days. Highly recommend if you have any leather repair needs.

I have an old vintage motorcycle jacket that I thought was disintegrated beyond repair. After trying a few tailors without success, I brought it to Cory and the team at Sandalman Leathercare and they were able to completely restore it, I was amazed! Not only did the reconditioning process bring the look and feel of the leather back to the way it looked twenty years ago, they were also able to replace the lining and add some new interior pockets. I am very happy to know there is a place in Toronto that I can trust to do these types tricky repairs.

I brought in a β€œfavourite” cardigan that over time I had worn holes in at the elbows. I brought a suede / leather patch in and asked them to patch the elbows. They did a very careful job with attention to detail with a parallel stitch. It looked as if it was original to the sweater. Not inexpensive but worth every cent.

Sandalman is excellent. I had a leather jacket in terrible shape which I inherited from my grandfather. The pockets were torn, the lining of the jacket was almost completely ruined and the leather was worn. Sandalman repaired my jacket in the time and at the price he promised. The jacket looks brand new. The lining is great and the leather looks superb. I would recommend Sandalman without hesitation. He is the best!

This place is incredible! I brought in my leather bag which had a really deep scratch, and Cory was nice enough to explain the whole process of what needed to be done for my bag. Not only did he repair it, but my bag looks better than ever. I appreciate how patient Cory was with explaining the process, answering all my questions, including setting realistic expectations of what to expect after he was done with repairing. Highly recommend!!

Great workmanship and customer service. I’ve got a vintage bomber jacket I really like that I picked up on vacation a couple years ago. However, the leather needed some treatment, the trim was fraying, and recently some of the seams had ripped. I brought it in, and after going over different options, I decided to go for the β€œworks” - treatment, repair, new trim, new sheepskin collar, new lining. It was totally worth it. They did amazing work! It looks beautiful and feels great, like a brand new jacket, and I’ve gotten compliments on it as well.
