Firefly Electronics

I went to Firefly a couple of weeks back to see if they can fix a loose connection at the base of the charging pin on my laptop's charger. The folks at the store are very courteous and professional, I got my charger pin fixed at an excellent price and it works like a charm! Definitely recommend firefly for repairs of any electronic items.

This is the first and last time I will ever go to Firefly Electronics. To summarize, not only did they not fix my headphones, but I was returned my headphones in worse condition than when I brought them in. I accidentally cracked the band on my pair of Beats wireless headphones (see "Before" photo attached) and my brother took them to Firefly Electronics for repairs while I was away on a work trip. They said they didn't have a rose gold band, but they had a white one and asked if my brother would like a white band instead. My brother replied that he would think about it and then get back to them because he had to ask me first. I did not want a white band on my rose gold headphones. But before my brother could call back to tell them to just return the headphones without changing the band, they had called my brother to let him know that they already changed the band to a white band and that the headphones were ready to be picked up soon. I was quite angry that they did this without confirming with my brother. But I understand that perhaps this was due to miscommunication or an error on their part, and mistakes happen. So my brother asked, upon my request, to change the band back to my original broken band and we will take my headphones elsewhere to be repaired. Firefly electronics put my original broken band back on the headphones but the headphones, when returned to my brother, were in a much worse state than before. (See photos attached) Not only were there scratches on the headphones, but the band wasn't placed on properly and the wire was much more exposed, and it clearly wasn't in good hands. I was mortified. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt when the first mistake happened, but mishandling a client's product is not what I expected from them. I haven't gotten an apology and my brother has informed me that the staff were rude to him during this process. I am beyond angry, I am truly disappointed.

Every time I’ve been to Firefly Electronics I am astonished at how quickly they get work done! Vladimir worked on my PC both times I brought it in and he is really fantastic. Works super quickly, solves the issues, and is extremely kind. Fixed my beats solo3 here (1 side wasn't working). Quick -day turn around and fair prices. I like that they are straight forward in their service. Headphones are working great again. I was going to try and fix it myself but the time, money, and effort to get a soldering machine and DIY would not equal the value and convenience of this shop. The replacement parts seem to be of equal quality - maybe a sonics expert can pick up any minute differences.

Best repair shop I have ever been to. They repaired my laptop for water damage and got it completely fixed by the next day. Ana, Vladimir, and Yuri were very kind, professional, and trustworthy. Amazing service, 10/10 would repair again
