★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only does Finishing Touches have gorgeous home décor the customer service is excellent! The ladies that work there are friendly and willing to help you find the prefect piece for any room. Just this week I sent in pictures of a space, which I had no idea how to decorate and they quickly created a beautiful greenery arrangement in a metal jug. The quality is outstanding and it was just what the space needed. I will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful shop full of all kinds of indoor and outdoor home decor! Very unique pieces you won't find anywhere else. It's impossible to go in and not find something you love. Also the owners are lovely and go above and beyond to make sure you find what you're looking for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful store for sure...but the staff ummmm....not friendly at all...I went with my two kids (7 and 3), a umbrella stroller for my little boy and the lady said please leave the stroller here (in a little space) I agree with her...no problem. But always she was pushing me to buy fast and I told her next time and she said next time will be a sign "no stroller allowed " I recomend to her a sign "NO KIDS AND BUY FAST". sorry...not good experience there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've purchased a number of items at this store since my arrival in Okotoks in 2013. Owner(s) and staff have always welcomed me, and have always allowed me to roam quietly and slowly through their beautiful store -- occasionally asking if I needed assistance or if I have any questions. When I find a piece that catches my eye, and I ask for a pair, they are quick on their feet to find the matching item. Their follow up to any order I place is impressive.
This is my go-to store for home décor and gifts, or to replace items that friends and family have welcomed themselves to in my home (BECAUSE they are that beautiful!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to the store today just to take a look because the outside decor looked beautiful, while we were there I had my 3 year old son with me, who was walking and just talking about some of the ornaments, he got excited about one and started to tell me about it, one of the staff members shushed him and told him he was startling, I will never return, if your not okay with children entering your store put a sign up, otherwise work on your customer service because this was completely unacceptable. I would advise any parents, leave your kids at home before going to this store because it’s obvious children are unwelcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the loveliest shopping experience at Finishing Touches today, Tuesday, November 23, 2021. I had come across the parking lot on my crutches to be met by a very kind lady wondering if I was headed there to shop. I confirmed yes I was, and she informed me that they were closed but was there something specific I was looking for? Indeed there was, she let me in the side door so I didn't have to walk around on the snowy sidewalk. I told her what I was after, she showed me all the choices. I made my selection, paid, they wrapped things up and out I went. Excellent, excellent customer service. So friendly and I most certainly will be back again. I thanked her for her compassion, customer service and went home happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not only is this store very overcrowded to the point where you're always hitting something, but they fully allow non-masked customers in the store. felt stressed being in there and left as soon as I could find my way out through the maze of product.
EDIT: The store response was for me to order online instead of them following public health guidelines. Not professional or safe. Why don't the people who don't want to wear a mask order online??
