★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to buy a couple of things. It was a cold day so I had a hoodie and a jacket on with my hood on as well. As I was browsing the store a woman came out of the back and said, "Hood down, ma'am." I looked over and realized she was talking to me. I looked at her confused. She said, "Security purposes." Seriously? K I would understand if you would have asked me like, "Hey, do you need any help with anything? Oh, and do you mind taking your hood off for security purposes?" But no I was talked to like a child, and I will never shop at that Fields store again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to buy an outfit and toiletries and while I was shopping they made sure to announce that there is 24 hr video surveillance..which kind of turned me off, since I was enjoying the peace and quiet of shopping alone, until I heard that announcement which I felt was directed at me since I was the only native in the store. Believe me discrimination exists..it's everywhere and it's subtle enough so not many notice. I'm very aware of it. Not cool fields.
