Stopped in twice. First time for drinks and second for lunch. Love the feel of the place. Patio is great. Beer was (mostly) good though I wasn't a fan of the pale ale. Great selection too. Food was delicious and very well priced, great value for money. Service was great both times. Will definitely stop for lunch next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend a stop, and worth getting off the highway for.

This was not what I was expecting when we stopped in. But I was greatly surprised and enjoyed myself highly. It was great to taste the beers in comparable fashion between the nitro and original marshmallow porter. The food was mouth watering I highly recommend stopping in.

Their new brunch menu is delicious! I had the breakfast bowl and it was the best I have ever had. I would travel the 50km in a heart beat to eat that again. Great service and food!

Such a cool restaurant! It's really nice and chill inside with a lot of spread out seating and big booths. The staff were all really friendly, food was fantastic and overall just a nice vibe.

We had a wonderful lunch today at Field and Forge. Had amazing staff who even opened the door for my parents, sat us a table that was out of the way for my moms oxygen machine. Staff was very friendly and accommodating from start to finish. I had a flight of beer and enjoyed their IPA the best. Lunch was fish and chips, loved that they offer 2 sizes and made my moms fries extra crispy like she loves. I had full size Philly cheese steak, should have ordered half! Lots of flavourful beef. Was just surprised with the gravy on it. Highly recommend taking a trip to check this place out.

Hi, first the place is beautiful. Well thought out, great design. We did not try the food but it looked great. Reason for a 3 star is because of the beer we tried. We did a flight of 4 stouts and they all fell short of what a stout should be.

Field & Forge Brewing Co., the little hidden gem! Who knew that a small town like Innisfail, right smack in the middle of Alberta, would have hidden gem?! My daughter had a ball tournament, and we decided to go for dinner at the Field & Forge Brewing Co, thanks to my foodie friend Wanda Baker who is also the editor of the Savour Calgary Magazine (a great magazine about food and recipes, check it out). When I entered the restaurant, I was impressed with the interesting interior decor of huge stainless steel equipment used to brew their beer. Immediately, the rich smell of yeast evoked powerful, pleasant memories of my childhood that got me excited and salivating! I ordered the Margherita rustic pizza for $13! It had a great house-made tomato sauce with mozzarella, bocconcini (cheese heaven right here!) and basil pesto. One of the best thing crust pizzas I've had in a long time! And then, of course, I had to sample their homebrew! I ordered their flight of beer for $8, which contained four different beers. I sampled the Belgian ale, amber lager, marshmallow porter and the dry stout. They all tasted as good as they looked! If you are a fan of microbreweries, this is a must-visit! The prices are great, the food is delicious, and the beer is perfect! All served by a smiling, friendly server. Only one hour drive from Calgary, I most definitely plan on visiting again!

Had a fantastic lunch at Field & Forge yesterday. Spectacular burgers, made in-house. Lovely beer - we had 2 flights and tried 8 varieties. So nice to see a porter on the menu! It did not disappoint. As busy as it was, our server rocked everything out in great time. Kudos to her for keeping things pleasant and rolling despite the rush. Very happy with everything, it was well worth the drive to Innisfail. Only one caution - if you don't care for the aroma of mash, this might not be the venue for you. It's an open concept brewery and the mash tun section is open to the dining area. I thought it was great, but I can see how someone sensitive to smells might struggle with the setup. Overall, 5/5, will return and would recommend.
