★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are friendly and professional, helpful and serving up some creative culinary soups. The Thai coconut curry punkin soup was incredibly DEElicious!!!??? warmed my hands just holding it, warmed my heart & soul too. Thank you it was just what I needed.

Coffee, dog friendly patio and gardens, stunning view and sourdough cheese toasties. Pretty much ideal I would say!

The cafe is using Mt Maxwell beans, fresh roast on the lighter side, fruity yet very rich.
It was awesome to be able to get a freshly made sandwich. The staff were great accommodating my extra lettuce and no bread request, so I got a generous plate of lettuce and egg salad to be my fiber-packed yummy meal.
The gazpacho soup was pretty good, maybe a tad too sweet for my taste. I usually avoid added sugar in my receipts or keep it on a very low side.
The energy ball was great, one of the best ones o ever had, balanced sweetness, nutty, crunchy, bit of chocolate made it a great desert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salt Spring Island is a jewel and Fernwood Road Cafe is the most beautiful hidden gem. Not so hidden, but located far from the busy streets, enjoy outdoor seating with heating lamps and gazebos that secure warmth even on the windiest of days. All fantastic: location, team, food, drinks. You hardly find local owned cafes out there anymore, so enjoy!
