The building of Polar Peak Lodges commenced in 1997. Nestled in the cedars, across the road from the Timber Bowl Express quad chairlift, Polar Peak offers privacy, spacious floor plans and ski to your door access. In 2008/09, the 7th phase of Polar Peak Lodges was completed and we’re excited to announce that Fernie Properties is now pre-selling Phase 8! Snow Creek Lodge, one of our Signature Properties, was constructed in 1999 and provides the ultimate ski-in-ski-out location at Fernie Alpine Resort – situated right beside the Elk Quad chairlift. Snow Creek Lodge features 61 luxury studio, one and two bedroom suites, and many extra amenities such as an outdoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, fitness room and underground parking. Several suites received upgrades during the Summer of 2009. The Snow Creek Cabins, three authentic Canadian log cabins which were added in 2001, are snuggled in the woods beside Snow Creek Lodge. These charming, two bedroom + loft cabins, with their slope-side, ski-in-ski-out location, have already become some of Fernie’s most popular accommodations. Planning for 3 additional cabins is currently underway.

Some people might say it's technically not a ski-in ski-out, although you can definitely walk to the hill everyday with your skiboots. ⛷️

Beautiful rooms. There were hot tubs in every complex and a pool at the central lodge. The beds were comfy and the overall atmosphere was great. 10/10 experience. A must recommend for vacation rentals or permanent residence.

Lodges are super close to lifts. The lifts need serious work. Really poor quality, the worst I've ever been on.

When we checked in we noticed right away there was absolutely no sound proofing between us and the joint room. You can hear every cough, flush of toilet and especially very loud music! At 1:30am our neighbours came barging in their room screaming, yelling, blaring music and singing incredibly loud. After 40 minutes of hoping they’d go to bed we decided to try and contact someone. We contacted the number they provided on the back of the door for when guests are being noisy. To our surprise the line was closed after 5pm. The people continued to get louder and louder so I contacted a couple more people through the website and all said they had nothing to do with our booking and there was no security of their knowledge. Now at 2:30am we were desperately walking around the lodge trying to find anyone to help us, again we came up short. On our way back to our room you could hear these people singing from 2 halls down. We knocked on their door 4 times to try and talk to them but they’d ignore us and turned the music up louder. I had contacted the person through the booking agency and they finally got back to me at 2:30am. They told me it was my fault for not contacting them sooner to deal with the problem. So instead of apologizing for our experience and sending someone to fix the problem it was now my fault, after 10 failed attempts to contact someone. I then asked for a refund as we actually ended up leaving at 3am in search of a new hotel. They said there was no refunds and again made it out to be our fault this happened. When we came back in the morning to collect all our belongings (we didn’t want to pack everything at 3:00am) we had a cleaning lady walk in on us while I was changing. They had sent someone at 9:00am to clean our room even though we had still paid for the room got no refund and they just assumed we weren’t there. I then messaged them again and again they said we should have said something earlier and we’re extremely rude. Aka stay away!!! The rooms have no sound proofing and they have no one to come if people are being too loud. They also have zero customer service skills as they just renting out their room when they aren’t using it and have no way to actually deal with problems. Stay far away from Aspen Lodge room 312L and 312!

Email sent to Fernie Lodge and received NO reply to date. I also called them the day we arrived to let them know about the condition of our condo and they suggested I send an email to guest services. Hello, I’m sending this email as we want you to be notified about the condition of this unit 631-A Juniper, upon our arrival on Monday. Because of the Covid19 pandemic and the fact that my husband is a kidney transplant recipient, we have to take extra precaution when it comes to the cleanliness of a vacation rental. When we arrived in this unit, I started to wipe down all light switches, doorknobs, common surfaces, water taps, appliances, etc with Lysol wipes. As I was doing this, we noticed several issues with a lack of cleaning. I have attached pictures for you to review. β€’ the silverware had stains β€’ there was a plate with stains β€’ the stovetop was smeared with something greasy - I wiped an area to show you in the picture β€’ there was something spilled all over the wall behind the nightstand - I was plugging in my phone charger when I noticed this β€’ the drawer where the toaster was in had crumbs - I cleaned the toaster β€’ bulb was burnt out in the bathroom I basically wiped down all surfaces that we would potentially touch. I even took out most of the dishes and all the silverware and put them in the dishwasher to ensure they were clean. No one should have to do this when they are on vacation, especially when you’re paying over $1,000 for a 4 night stay. We are questioning what really was cleaned in this unit before we got here? We would appreciate a reply to this email.

Absolutely beautiful place, 5 different hot tubs and a pool that was nice and warm. The views, the staff was absolutely amazing! It was our mini Honeymoon and they were helpful and so accommodating and did I mention helpful! ? I could go on and on, but seriously the rooms were clean , cozy and comfortable. Book here and you wont regret it, I know we didnt.

stayed in a three bedroom two bathroom unit. Very well appointed and clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Best part was walkable access to the ski hill. Would highly recommend.

I've owned a 1/4 share at the Juniper Lodge for 1-year now and can say that FLC have been great to deal with. They are quick on responding to emails, checking-in our guests, and rectifying maintenance issues. I'd recommend for your next vacation.
