Live in the lower mainland and was looking to purchase a Toro snowblower as I had owned one previously. Checked the local Toro dealers but no snow blowers of the model I wanted were available, so I looked elsewhere. Called Ferguson Equipment in Kamloops and Scott told me they had some in stock. I decided to purchase from Scott and he helped with the purchase and finding the best shipping rate. There was ample communication with Scott each step in the process and the snowblower was delivered earlier than expected. The customer service delivered by Scott was top notch and I got the machine I was looking for.

Ferguson managed to turn a potentially bad customer experience into a great one. I have been using this company to service my lawnmower for a number of years. At the end of last year it was running a bit rough and the service technician advised that it needed a fuel system (carb, fuel filter etc) service. After the servicing the mower ran fine...but it seemed to be using too much fuel and I thought my tank might be leaking. When I started up my mower, the pull cord snapped (which is no fault of Ferguson....it was 10 years old) and then the mower only ran for about 30 seconds before a part fell off and it started a big gasoline leak from under the engine. I took the mower in the next morning and it turns out that a bolt had not been properly secured when the carb was serviced. They asked me to come back in half an hour. When I returned, the carb was fixed, the gas tank was full and a new pull cord was installed at no charge. While I was a bit annoyed when my mower broke down, I also understand that anyone can make a mistake. I was impressed by how professionally and capably the staff dealt with this issue and I will continue to be a loyal customer.

The WORST company in Kamloops. Not only are the staff rude as can be, they’re also very brash with customers. Got a powersaw there. Used it for maybe 10 minutes. Won’t seem to start. So bring it to Ferguson to get yelled at and questioned by the staff. After twenty minutes of them being disrespectful towards me making false claims of improper fuel an oil use being the issue - as the old fella struggles to use a computer or find a customer account. Consistently swearing and blaming the computer and staff around him. Apparently they couldn’t spell the first or last name they were given at time of purchase - making it difficult to find the accounts. Once they located the account - They finally see that the saw was bought with oil and fuel they provided at time of sale. Long story short the piston rings are blown out causing a $500 dollar fix with less than 10 minutes of run time on a β€œbrand new” power saw. This company since switching ownership has gone to complete SH!T! Absolutely disrespectful horrendous staff.NEVER will any member of my family or any of my businesses ever purchase anything here again I SUGGEST TO SHOP ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! 0:5 stars not an option

Wow! First time visiting this store. My husband needs a new lawnmower and Lindsey was so helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us some options and pricing. We will be back in a few days to purchase.

This is my go to place for lawn and garden equipment. When is the last time you bought from Canadian tire or home depot and the staff gives you a free product safety and maintenance course? My new husqvarna chainsaw was fueled up as well as adjusted and tested on the spot.That is some next level customer service and much appreciated!!!!

Absolute WORST service imaginable. Dropped a fire pump off in October 2021 to have a pump mechanical seal leak fixed and, after multiple calls and drop ins, were told in March 2022 it was finally ready for pickup. Paid repairs at pick up and was told the pump was fixed, had been serviced, had fresh gas in it and it had been tested and was leak free. Got it home, no gas in it, fired it up two weeks later and it was still leaking in the same spot. Turns out they changed the seal and tested it without firing it up. Dropped the pump off two weeks ago and they haven't even started fixing it and we're heading into fire season. Don't deal with this place; horrible service, terrible communication, shady efforts to fix the problem and plain old bad attitude toward customers who bring things in for repairs. They've become sales people only.
