Best matress store in town. Well made, well priced, great No Pressure service, and all local in store manufacturing. I'm 69 and sleep like a kid now. Victoria is lucky to have a quality shop like this.

Bought Fawcett's 300TC Organic Cotton sheets. These are super soft and well stiched. I expect these will last a long time and get softer with use. I would definitely buy a set the next time I'm looking for bed linen. Lovely staff at the Victoria store as well, and they were really pleasant to deal with in arranging an in-store pickup of my order even with COVID waning.

I recently did a custom order for a mattress cover, and was so pleased with the prompt / helpful customer service, the quality of the mattress cover, and the turnaround time. I had connected with 3 other natural bedding suppliers, and am really glad I ended up going with Fawcett. Very professional, straightforward, and great quality.

Natural latex mattresses are the best. Look into it, way different than memory foam. Memory foam is a petrochemical product. It’s toxic and uncomfortable; it retains body heat and results in sweating. I had a Tempurpedic. Natural Latex does not cause that. And it’s more comfortable. You don’t just sink into it. Because of the process, making high quality latex is not inexpensive. Fawcett makes high quality natural latex mattresses with the best prices. They can do it because they’re a small, local company. You’re not paying for a the corporate infrastructure of a chain. Their store is their factory. Plus, they care and they’re fair. Select the right mattress and you’ll get the best, most comfortable sleep you’ve ever had. Unfortunately I selected the wrong mattress. I’m thin and light. I should not have gotten the model 9 with medium latex and medium coils — it’s a hybrid. Fawcett was really good and swapped out the medium latex layer for a soft one at no cost. So good of them. Even that change was still too firm for me. I bought a 2” extra soft topper. That still didn’t do it. Not enough extra soft. I wouldn’t recommend the toppers. Just get the right mattress firmness. I regret getting the coils. I didn’t need a hybrid, especially with medium coils. However, that combo will work for others. Had I had a chance to do it over, I’d have probably been good with a Model 1 extra soft. Live and learn. In conclusion, Fawcett mattresses are amazing. I’d recommend their products. But choose carefully; you can change the firmness of the latex, but there’s no 100 day trial period. No returns. Understandable, considering they’re a boutique operation, keeping the cost down — which benefits the consumer. Carefully explore their terrific web site and if at all possible, visit their showroom/factory, meet the great staff and try out….really try out the great mattresses. But, unlike me, get it right the first time.

Worth every cent. I've been a terrible sleeper all my adult life and this purchase has helped in leaps and bounds. I purchased the slatted wood frame, model 1 mattress, duvet and linens. A whole new set up. I had an issue with the fit of the duvet cover and the staff were incredibly accommodating and professional. I highly recommend Fawcett for the superior qaulity of the products and the customer service.

We bought a Model 2 King about 1 1/2 years ago. Searching for a 'just right' mattress was complicated as my partner is a side and back sleeper and likes a soft mattress and I'm a stomach sleeper and like a firm mattress. We were able to customize each side and ordered one side soft and the other firm (both the topper and the bottom mattress). Amazing! I was worried I'd really notice the transition in the middle but it's been ok. Fawcett has amazing customer service, as so many others have said. They let me know that it would take 3 weeks to acclimatize to the latex mattress. And it really did. The first night, I had the worst night sleep of my life. I cried! It was so firm! I felt like it was uncomfortable to breathe. I called them the next morning and they encouraged me to try and also let me know that I could swap out the topper if I needed to. I ended up going back to Fawcett (a 2 hr drive away) to retry out the medium firmness (on top of the firm bottom mattress). They were so patient with me. In the end I stayed with my initial choice of firm and I was SO happy that I did. After a few weeks of adjusting, I LOVED it. I have the best sleeps. I enjoy going to bed so much! A year and a half in and I still think so often "I love this mattress!". I feel super fortunate that we have a local company with so much integrity and a great product. I've been meaning to write this review for a while but wanted a lot of time to go by so I could really see how it was. We are both super happy with this purchase. Thank you!

My wife and I were very happy to find a locally owned and operated mattress manufacturer in Victoria. We booked our appointment and visited the showroom on a Saturday afternoon. The salesperson was friendly and engaging and more than happy to answer questions all while setting up the beds for many iterations of comfort. We were very impressed with the quality of the materials and the open manufacturing floor. You really can see how they construct the mattresses. It seems like covid-times have not slowed down their business. We ordered our new mattress right away and we expect to get it delivered in the next 4-6 weeks. We ended up ordering one of their most popular hybrid latex and pocket coil models. They were able to setup their showroom in a way so that we could try out all the different firmness combinations so that were pretty sure we've picked the right model. We also made note that their warranty and local exchange policies are very accommodating if the mattress is not quite right. Looking forward to our new mattress - our current one is definitely past its prime.

Wow! We got out model 1 extra firm mattress 8 months ago and we are STILL raving about how much we love it, so much so that I am leaving a review (I never review things). It is the best mattress I've ever slept on and even better that it was made right here in Victoria. The process of buying was absolutely incredible as the staff were overwhelmingly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I cannot recommend Fawcett enough there is literally nothing that could have been improved in my entire experience! The price is totally worth it!
