A small restaurant which serves a set fine-dining menu. The chef comes out between each course and describes it’s local ingredients and his inspiration for the dish. One of our top dining experiences of our holiday in the region.

Have had the pleasure of eating at Les Faux Bergers twice and have been thoroughly impressed with the high quality of the fresh, local food. The Chef is a passionate and highly knowledgeable individual who with his team of servers, provides a truly memorable meal. Do not expect suburban, chain restaurant food please. This is a gourmet experience created by a true artist.

I'm a bit shocked at how well priced this is and how amazing and unique the food was. You'll be a bit silly not to go here. Make sure you book the evening off as the courses may run long and come with stretchy pants. Thanks for having me!!

Dinner overall was good, but not at all at the level I was expecting after reading the reviews and looking at the website. One of the fish dishes was tasting amazing (omble chevalier in Japanese-style broth), the others were ok, but two of them didn’t have their place in a fine dining menu compared to what I could experience else where. A little bit over rated in my opinion, but maybe I was there on the wrong night, since the menu is supposed to be different every day. Staff was great though, and the fact that they explain where every local product is coming from is a plus!

The setting is beautiful and inviting. I love that the chef describes each dish, as well as explains where each ingredient is from. It's nice to know how they came to create this experience and the stories of each of the producers involved. Their team is amazing and really makes you feel welcomed. The price/quality is amazing. It makes it accessible for many which is great because it will inspire that many more people to buy their food in a more conscious way.

I've been to many high-end restaurants in Canada, but this is the best meal and overall experience I had. Every dish was incredibly creative, crafted with a long list of locally-sourced ingredients that worked wonders put together. We came for dinner, for which the only option is a "surprise" tasting menu and we shared the wine pairing as well, and it was a delight. Everything about the experience is wonderful, from the location (in a fromagerie/farm out of the city) through the plating, the amazing staff/owners, to the amazingly delicious dishes. I really hope to have an opportunity to go back again!
