I've been fishing at this location for about 4 years. The fishing is good! The management are great people...and the fish are the tastiest I've ever eaten! I love fishing there and I know you will too!

The owner is very rude, possibly racist, and does not follow her own rules. I'd avoid this place if you are a person of colour as you are liable to be refused service. The website says it is open 9-5 but last entry is 4 pm. Don't trust their "last entry before 4 pm" policy if you work weekends like me, live far away and want to get there by then for some quick fishing. You simply cannot count on them honouring that deadline. I was there before 4 pm but the owner lied to my face insisting it was past 4 and refused service. I came here with my elderly dad for Fathers Day 2018 to give him a chance to catch a trout, because he had expressed interest before. I have my own gear and we came from Caledon, leaving around 3:10 pm, arriving at 3:53 pm exactly. I came with a pocket full of cash after perusing their website about entry times and regulations.I had missed the exit for the pond coming from the north side of 4th line, so would have been there a few minutes earlier, but I doubt it would have made a difference. As I approached the office the owner came out and told me that they were closed because "last entry is 4, and it's past 4". I politely told her that it was in fact 3:54 pm, not 4 pm but she insisted that it was 4 pm regardless. It's not my fault her clocks are ahead! I saw that there was another group of customers that were just getting kitted up, having probably arrived just a little bit before me. Yet I was refused service on the argument I had come late when in fact I had not! The only difference I saw between them and me was my skin colour was much darker, and though I don't assume people behave like that, her rudeness and arbitrary refusal of honouring her own policy struck me as malicious. To be clear it was not that they were closing early. I could understand that and chalk it up to bad luck. But the fact there was a newly arrived batch of customers that were going to be there probably till 5 pm made it clear it was a simple refusal of service. Shen blamed me for "not reading signs" that they were closed and I informed her that I had read them, assumed they had been put up a little early because they might have thought no one else was coming, and I simply wanted clarification. When she couldn't keep up the line I was late she started bringing up the irrelevant point she had been open since 9 "in this heat", as if that changed the written policy on the website of last entry. As stated earlier, others were allowed to fish despite the weather. Finally she just straight up said " I'm the boss", meaning facts don't matter and that she just don't want to follow her own policy or care about customer service at all. I did not argue with her, or raise my voice, and was perfectly polite. Still, it was clear she was in a combative mood and perhaps thought herself 'above' dealing with someone like me. I would have respected her if she had said that due to the heat she has decided to stop serving customers despite the policy, and that she was tired. That would have been understandable and honourable. But the way she tried to blame me and tell me I was late despite the facts, and clutch straws to refuse me service left me quite speechless. I would advise other people, especially coloured people to avoid making the journey because you may be refused service. Racism aside, the worst part was the disappointment on my dad's face when I came back to the car and told him we'd been refused service. I told him that at 3:58 pm

Lovely enclosed fishing farm for a nice outing with the kids. Only open on weekends and they will provide fishing rods and bait. The promise to clean your catch for free on their site. Good free parking available on site. You pay for what you catch.do call before you go as they shut down when out of fish in the ponds.

I am 50 and this is my first experience for fishing with my two brothers. Staff are really good and lady show us how to use fishing rod proper way. We really enjoy and catch some fishes. I recommend to go there. I see on comments before there is one gay saying something about lady she is racist. I dont see something like that. Advice people don't spread hate to to write down some kind of review like that.

Nice place, well maintained and clean property. The staff were friendly and helpful, prices were very fair. Size and quality of the trout we caught (12-18inches) were nice but I was of course hoping for larger. Overall it was a great time with the family and would definitely return again!

Brought my 12-year old son and his friend and they had a blast. $5 entry fee per person and they sell worms on-site. No catch and release you have to keep what you catch. Price per fish seemed high on paper but we spent over and hour and brought home three large fish which were gutted and cleaned for us and I spent around $40 all-in. Owners were very nice and taught the kids how to clean fish. Great experience for kids and worth the spend vs our usual fishing experiences which are typically a bust even though they're free. Would go back.
