Just brutal service since their new manager arrived perhaps 2.5 years ago... old manager was awesome, new manager just brought a can't do attitude, poor customer service, poor knowledge base on products, cant find products previously ordered, I've been doing business there since the old location... I will drive right by to go get product if I can get it elsewhere... Not to mention, you cant buy directly there unlike the other locations...

Appalling service. I ordered about $3000 worth of bolts and racking to build up a stock. The bolts and racking took about three weeks to arrive, although then Fastenal went dark without giving us the labels or completing the sorting. After nearly two months of calling them almost daily they finally showed up with the labels, but instead of sorting by length and diameter they just labelmakered over the labels and only sorted by diameter. Now I've got a bunch of bolts in bags that are only marginally easier to sort through than if they just dumped them all on the ground. I was expecting poor service, like it is Fastenal, but I expected them to at least be able to deliver and sort fasteners.

They wont even let you in the door now, I get that its Covid19 times and I arrived with my mask on, sign on door says to email your order. Absolute BS and I will avoid your business for the rest of my life. If there was a no star option I would have chosen that.

Went there today, had no idea about the email ordering. Went to the front door with my mask on and knocked on the door. Asked the guy working if I could just tell him what I needed seeing as I had the list in my hand. He told me "no, go away and email the order." I will be sure to let everyone I know not to give this place their business.

Curbside pickup only as of August 4th, there's no way I'm going to go online, create an account, find the part number, and place an order for 4 lousy bolts. I understand they want to be careful with Covid, but it seems a little bit drastic to basically cut off any spontaneous walk in business. The person on the phone was kind though!

Since Covid started this company has put up nothing but road blocks to simple purchasing. You can’t buy directly in the store. You can no longer phone and give hardware samples while standing outside to anyone working there. You can’t purchase online unless you have a verified account number. So you apply for an account number and don’t hear anything back. You can email an order, but only if you’re a registered business. So you email your order with business verification and don’t get confirmation of your order. I’m permanently done with this company and the ideologue/s who decided this is a great way to operate.

honestly baffled this place can afford to keep their lights on. No customers allowed in the store, no matching samples. curbside pickup only. for a nuts and bolts store. I mean if you're that scared, take my sample bolt and hose it down with hand sanitizer before you match it up. so weird.
