M	Mel F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My beloved 15 year old dog took a turn for the worst rapidly over thanksgiving weekend. Shes 90 lbs and a car ride would have been impossible. I tried all 3 palliative home care euthanasia vets, and called many others. Sadly i read, we are “closed for holiday” and others told me new west was “too far” of a distance to go for a dying animal. Sigh.... thru a friend of a friend i was graciously hooked up with Dr Varinder. He came to our aid in less than 24 hours. Hes was kind , compassionate and professional . If i lived in aldergrove i would use his hospital for all my future dogs due to the simple fact that he cares. Forever grateful for his service.
M	Michelle Galasso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was this past Easter Monday and I had to get my dog seen ASAP . I took a chance and call and yes they were opened and I took my dog in. Very happy to say may dog is alive today. This is a great vet hospital. I highly recommend this place.

Won't be back, front desk lady was super unprofessional and clearly had no adequate training with pets. Staff communication is horrible, I have called numerous times to get my Xray records for my little pup sent to his regular vet as it was urgently requested and 4 days later I am still waiting, and keep getting a run around. I had paid the vet bill and am legally entitled to all my records. When we dropped the lil guy off at the vet, the front desk lady was yanking him with the leash with no love nor care given. She told my husband and I that she was not allowed to pick up or get close to the pets?????! I actually left him there with them with worry in my mind and crying. When I got back there to pick him up he came running to me and there was another little puppy there whining/yelping for attention - animals here are not being taken care of, monitored or held appropriately. When we were leaving my husband saw the front desk lady literally drag another dog by the collar across the room while it remained sitting the entire time. I highly recommend NOT bringing your pet here. Id rather drive to Surrey to my regular vet regardless of the time in case of an emergency again. Will never be back.
J	J B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The doctor was not helpful, he didn’t explain anything well or even do a thorough exam. He tried to explain the X-ray results to us and it seemed he didn’t even know what to make of it as he was back tracking everything he was saying and then contradicting himself. He was unable to tell us anything conclusive about the results and instead kept suggesting we send everything to his specialist for results. The doctor didn’t even suggest anything for symptom management lead alone solutions to the issue so we left with no advice or prescriptions. The receptionist was lovely though!! UPDATE: I called back the next day to ask questions about my dogs x-rays and the owner picked up (the vet) and said "you wrote me a bad review on google I'm not helping you", then went on to scream at me and verbally attack me. He continuously talked over me and would not let me even speak. Absolutely the most unprofessional interaction I have ever had with anyone led alone a business owner and a person people trust with our animals. Will be filing a complaint with the college. UPDATE: the owners reply about offering medications, anti-nausea solutions, and hospitalization is false- we would have accepted any medications to even try in order to help our dog. Additionally, he continues to take no responsibility for his behaviour over the phone.
D	Drew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my cat in to have a skin condition diagnosed recently. While the staff were friendly, I was made to wait 20 minutes for an appointment I had booked due to clerical oversight. The vet did not consult or ask any questions about their food or living conditions, or offer any advice or suggestions regarding such, before or after the checkup, besides offering a very expensive teeth cleaning, which was not what I took my cat in for, but at least O had the chance to say no to that. Our cat’s back was also shaved without our consent. In the end, they needed to keep my cat for 3.5 hours, despite being only a diagnosis visit. I was not permitted to be in the office or the room with my cat, nor did I get to speak with the vet in-person. On the way out, I was given and charged for a 6 month supply of topical parasiticide, which almost doubled the bill and was given without explanation of its use, how much it would cost, or why we were given 6 month’s worth. This was on top of two other medications, which included an antibiotic, which is not relevant to his condition. All of this was done with no consultation and gouged the price of the visit by a couple hundred dollars. If you are looking for a trustworthy vet who is transparent and honest, I’m afraid I cannot recommend this establishment.
M	M.R. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome staff and service. I called in the middle of the night after my dog was hit by a car. The vet was there only 30 minutes later and took very good care of us. We received several updates during the next day and they even sent some photos to show us how our dog was doing. No emergency fee and a highly reasonable bill - Thank you so much for everything Dr Varinder and team! I absolutely recommend this place

V	Vivian Harder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Varinder saved my dog’s life. He accurately diagnosed a rare life threatening disease. Without his knowledge and care my dog would have surely died. The vet techs were also dedicated and looked after my boy during his many days on critical care.
