I dealt with Dhruv and he is excellent in customer service and has great knowledge regarding his offerings. He also helped me figure out the best way to borrow along with best options to repay. Will always recommend fairstone to friends & people in need.

Being able to fully pay off thousands of dollars of credit card debt from being laid off due to Covid took away so much of my stress. I can stop living paycheque to paycheque and finally start rebuilding myself financially. Big thank you to Pam for being so

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My uncle recently passed away. They had a loan from this company for a washer and dryer. I am not too sure exactly how long ago. In either event I will be bringing this to the better business bureau and probably CBC. I am paying the account off today and it is for more than what the washer and dryer was worth in the first place. Please be aware of these companies they are predatory and are out for blood even when someone has deceased.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute worst company DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS HERE. They entered my interest rate incorrectly and made me pay an additional 10% on my loan for several months. When I got them to fix it they kept saying they couldn't reflect the changes on my online account and refused to send me the documentation I requested. They will try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible and pretend it was errors in their system. Fairstone is a leech of a company that takes advantage of people who 1. are desperate 2. don't have other options 3. don't realize the consequences of taking on loans at exponential interest rates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Low approval rating, high interest rates. They basically email you saying you’re pre approved. You call them, forced to do a hard credit check even though it says SIN number optional. Now my credit goes down even further, when the entire point of the loan application was debt consolidation. Would NOT recommend even taking a phone call from these guys lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews. I received an unsolicited piece of mail addressed to me, but with my parents' address on it. I have no idea how they got either my name or parents' address, have never reached out to them to ask for financial advice, and have no need for a loan currently, thank you. Not only that, but there's no way to reach their office by email; only by phone or an in-person visit. I feel pretty creeped out about it.
