I wish I could give -5 stars. The first time I came here a couple weeks ago looking for some Velcro, I walked around for 30 minutes and did not receive any help so I left. The second time I once again could not find anyone to help me and waited 10 minutes to pay after my husband hunted a woman down who was not apologetic in the least. We were then told very rudely that we could return the drapes we picked out if they didn’t match once we got home. Another woman approached the desk who was even more rude. I honestly have never been treated so rudely in my life. I will definitely not be shopping here. Horrible experience.

Excellent Service; the staff is so very friendly and always willing to help. The sales are tremendous and the store very clean and organized considering the amount of stock they have to deal with. A great store and glad we have it here in Chilliwack.

Unbelievable. Staff was extremely unpleasant. Rolling their eyes when I asked for help, raising their voice and just downright rude to their customers. The last few times I've been in have been dreadful. I'm very displeased with my recent visits and I won't recommend to my friends any time soon. I hope they know that their poor attitudes are hurting their business.

I agree with other customers that some staff react very sharply at you if they feel you're not following their Covid rules 100%. I am a senior who takes the bus, has foggy glasses and poor eyesight and have to carry things being a pedestrian. So I fumble alot in the store dealing with my own stuff and carting fabric, notions, patterns around. What disappoints me the most is that I find staff know far less than I do about sewing techniques/tools, fabric/interfacing/sewing needles, etc., yet I still need knowledgeable assistance and it's not there. I realize staff are paid minimum wage, but it's obvious from the way the staff present themselves that their pattern drafting/sewing skills are not at a high level. That said, Chilliwack can't afford to have them go out of business, especially for people like me who can't easily get to Abbotsford. There are so few fabric stores left.

I was in the store for fabric, thread and buttons. It will be the absolute last time for me. I wasn't asked for my membership and I have been a member for over 40 years. The staff in this store are extremely rude INCLUDING the manager. Then wait in line for 25 minutes to be served because the cashier was going through the flyer from January and repremanding a customer for not coming in last month. WtH wrong with people. A till was free for another staff member to serve the new lineup. Never again, disgusting staff and disgusting service. Good bye fabricland

Dropped by this Fabricland in the hope of finding some ribbons and tissue for gift wrapping we have to send oversea and with shipping issues better be sent early. We came in at 5:45 pm and was at the counter by 6pm when they close. Linda at the counter was in a big hurry to leave, it was written all over her face and how she treated us. They were offering like 50-60% discount on some fabrics if you have a membership. Linda wanted us to pay full price just because we didn't have one and of course she was not willing to wait a few extra minutes while we apply for the membership or use her own as other places do. Just dropped most of what we had and got what was not discounted by membership. It shows a total lack of caring for customers and making a small effort. Could have become regular customers but I will just stick with Amazon, much better prices and no need to deal with sour people like Linda who when asked nicely for a bag, gave us a cheap clear plastic one and at first wasn't even gonna give one instead of giving us a casual Fabricland bag. Then you wonder why brick and mortar shops are closing down, because of unmotivated and uncaring employees besides other reasons. Another employee named Kenneth i think on the other hand was very polite and respectful when asked a question and showed he was happy to help. Still gonna leave it at one star because of the whole experience but shout out to this gentleman for being respectful and showing care.
