Pretty good selection, decent prices. Staff can be both helpful and sometimes unhelpful. Depends on who's working and the kind of mood they are in. I can usually find what i need though. For those with mobility issues or carriages, there is a step to get in and the aisles are narrow. Not a place for kids.

Everything you need, nice service, fun experience. Though the store is in a repurposed space which makes it feel old fashioned, it's got a nice feeling and all the items you'd like expect. It has all the treasure hunt items and fabrics. I was carrying my 8 mo old baby through the store no problem. Note that the rear of the store (fleece, flannel, end game) had a few steps down so isn't stroller friendly.

I was recently at the store and was completely shocked by the attitude of the young cashier/assistant manager. After shopping there for many years, always being so pleased with the wonderful service from the long time employees, it has made me reconsider ever going back. Not only was she rude and disrespectful to me, but other customers as well, making personal comments about the woman ahead of me. An extremely disappointing experience.

It's turning into one of my favorite stops for my hobbies. There are almost innumerable amounts of fabric, sales bins in the back, drapes, seasonal pillow cases, and any ancillary things you night need. I recently bought a starter set of cross stitching thread, and I had a hard time containing myself with the extras. There are always decent sales happening for whatever you are looking for. The staff are friendly and in my experience, knowledgeable. It's a good time to even just go feel fabric to get inspiration for a project. It's a great place!

I’ve never been here before but needed scissors for a Christmas gift. When I approached an older employee asking where they were, she started walking away from me. She then said stay back there, I was more than 6 feet from her the entire time. A younger employee was more helpful and said she just doesn’t want you near her, and said she’d show me. I got what I wanted and went to the cash where I stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to help me. Three employees carried on what they were doing, none helping anyone else before the younger girl came to cash me out. It was a first and last time going there for me, and I’ll be sure to let others know how terrible the service and staff are!

Absolutely the worst! The store itself is OK the management and service and attitudes of the employees is inappropriate and just outright rude and ignorant. I got told to mask my children that are under 2 years of age. I also got told to "control" my children who were being extremely well behaved for children under 2. They stayed by my side the whole time and never once were vocal or even touched product. No one asked to help me when clearly I needed service. No one welcomed me or even looked at me. This is not the first time this has happened and I'm not the only one who has said this is the service they provide. This is not my first time there, but it WILL BE MY LAST. I will also make complaints to other authorities. I'm extremely upset and should not have been treated this way. No mother should be spoken to like this.

This is the only place in Pembroke you can get almost all types of fabrics, elastics, leathers and what not.

I was nervous to go into the store with a toddler, but decided it was worth a try for something I needed. Note: they do not have carts to park a kid in, so if you plan to be more than a few minutes with a little one, bring your stroller. (But, there isn't a ton of places to park one that they cant reach STUFF. We did knock a little display over, but we cleaned up our mess.) They have rearranged since I've been there last (pre baby), so it looks nice and is a bit more cohesively arranged. Sales all in the back. The girl helping me cut my lengths was helpful and honest, and tolerant of my wrangling a kiddo. Ended up finding good deals for what I needed. That said, go in being aware of prices elsewhere and mentally balance quality, availability, shipping time, and price. Edited to add: The overall mood was as I expected, not particularly welcoming for a mom with a young kid, but not outright hostile. A note to the staff, after a week's reflection: consider getting carts, so the young kids can be parked. I know, you don't even want to encourage moms to bring the kids in at all, but think about who your customers are (or could be) right now. Kids go through clothes fast. SOME moms like to sew for their kids. Some moms are home, because day care in covid times does not make sense. Poor treatment in a store sends those moms to online retailers, shopping months in advance of a given season. These women put a lot of consideration into where they spend their money, and some of it could be the local fabric land. Make it a more comfortable, welcoming space for them and they just might. (I waited nearly 2 years to go into the store because I was nervous about the reception I would get with a little one. I'm not a perfect mom and she's not a perfect kid. But, That's 2 years of $$$ spent elsewhere.)
