Entre désespoir et culpabilité, nous avons eu la chance de visiter le Vivalis et nous avons trouvé un endroit exceptionnel concernant la qualité des soins. Non seulement ils ont su adapter leur approche pour que ma mère se sente mieux malgré la maladie, mais ils lui ont offert un endroit stimulant et sécurisant. À travers une maladie horrible, nous avons trouvé une équipe exceptionnelle prête à s'investir positivement malgré les éléments très complexes que ma mère présentait. Je serais toujours reconnaissant envers le Vivalis. My mother suffered from dementia and we were no longer able to properly care for her at home. Between despair and guilt, we had the chance to visit the Vivalis and we found an exceptional place regarding the quality of care. Not only did they adapt their approach to make my mother feel better despite the illness, but they also provided her with a stimulating and reassuring place. Through a horrible illness, we found an exceptional team ready to invest positively despite the very complex elements that my mother presented. I would always be grateful to the Vivalis.
F	Francine Aguilar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HORRIBLE!!! Nurses like to be on their phone for hours Workers at night sleep in the bed bedside residents Like everywhere there was some nurses that were gems!!! But overall if I have have to do it again, I do not recommend.
k	kikistella alia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you dont care about your love ones you send them here ! trust me the nurses are garbage and dont care and will cost about 5000 $ a month to be treated bad ................the douglas will treat you better !! ive attended the breakfast and was shocked how the nurses didnt care ....these people only go to work for the money and dont give a S$# about the residence ....

Nurses did not read files, were ambivalent, personnel didn't care, they were there to do their shift. I strongly suggest to find somewhere else to place aging parents...
j	justin purcell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disrespectful management ,a man named Joseph is rude to the residents and I saw how he treated employees before covid -19 , a terrible institute to place family members ,I recently heard they have the virus in the building and aren’t taking the cautionary action for residents and staff ,especially for staff with medical issues and of age !! Such a disgusting thing to hear about from a caregiving home ,doesn’t even deserve a one star ,just poor performance on management! I will be reporting to health inspectors about these terrible unsafe conditions for all peoples working and living in this building

Vivalis is so different than other résidences and I highly recommend it. The general manager is so caring, professional and attentive to our needs. He and his team are problem solvers and we can reach out to them with any concern. Also, the building itself is fairly new, with great uptake. Most importantly, i know my mom is in good hands and happy. I no longer feel guilty about having “placed her” somewhere. Vivalis is her new home.
B	Bijou Albareto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with the positive reviews. My experience with my dad at Vivalis is very positive so far. My sister and I were overwhelmed with caring for our dad at home. He fell in March 2016 and broke his hip. Then suffered a stroke after surgery. We tried our best to keep him home but it got too tough and we were exhausted and always arguing. The staff here at Vivalis is so patient and understanding. I agree with the reviewers about the general manager. He’s amazing! Things are very different since he is here. This is because he has solid experience in health care and nursing and it shows! My sister and i are so grateful to have him and Vivalis, to know our dad is happy and safe and close to home :) (we grew up in and live in West Island).
D	Donna Mignault on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The care or lack of care is Disgraceful! The staff are rude, rough, and totally disrespectful. The were verbally abusive to my Mother. There were several days her medications were not given. We couldn't wait to remove her from this terrible place. The management was told about all the terrible issues we had. They knew it was bad. We removed my Mother after one month. I wouldn't send my Dog there.
