A great place for a quick, quiet, cheap meal. Certainly nothing fancy, but as far as breakfast goes, for the price you can’t beat this place.

Excellent Denver Omelettes. No pretence . Old school food made well at a value of a price . Will be back !

Ordered Chinese here for lunch one day and really enjoyed it! The owners, Peter and his wife, are very sweet, hardworking people. Very freshly made sweet and sour pork that was still very crispy. Generous portions for the price and location. Planning on trying out more Chinese food in the future here.

Evelyn’s Grill Review: Peter and his wife are charming people, and they make some of the best diner food in town. Some of their dishes are the poutine, composed of french fries, cheese curds, gravy, and herbs. The poutine is one of the most delicious dishes on the menu. It provides an enjoyable and comforting experience, giving the customers a full stomach and a happy face. The tuna melt is also a prevalent dish, as it includes grilled tuna mixed with mayo and chives, topped with a slab of creamy and delicious cheddar cheese, topped on two slices of bread. The sweet and sour chicken on stir-fried noodles is also delicious, as the chicken is unique and tastes delicious, while the noodles help cut into the rich and flavorful chicken with its delightful texture and look. The Big Bay club sandwich is one of the most popular sandwiches on the menu, as it includes a lot of meat toppings, vegetables, sauces, and garnishes. Be sure to consider it next time you order. The burgers at Evelyn’s grill are also quite great but are small in portion. Many patrons love having the burger with small fries, an excellent combo that fills their stomachs and leaves smiles on their faces. They also serve much Chinese-style food at Evelyn’s, as some unique dishes taste great and look great. The chicken strips and fries are perfectly balanced to allow for a tasty experience. The windowed fridge at the counter will enable you to look at what is available to drink. My personal favourite is the Arizona ice tea. The breakfast at Evelyn’s is also qxuite good, as the eggs and toast are tasty, and the sausages give off a pleasant taste. The coffee at Evelyn’s is strong and delightful, be sure to get it with your breakfast order. The people that go to Evelyn’s are also quite pleasant. Many of them are students. One student I spoke with ordered poutine, and he shared with me a particular trick he does to improve the flavour of the poutine; he added vinegar to it. I tried it, and it tasted amazing. The vinegar cuts through the deep and rich creaminess and savouriness of the cheese and gravy, giving it a salty/sour taste, making it something I love. Be sure to try this method out next time if you order the poutine at Evelyn’s. One particular day, I decided to order a cookie. The cookie was done quite well, soft, and delicious. It was everything I was expecting the cookie to be, but better! Evelyn’s Grill and Caffe is a must-stop next time you're in the area, as this underrated diner gives off old-school vibes but packs in taste and experience! I suggest the most is to come during the morning, and afternoon, not noon, because there is quite the lineup during noon, as the kids at the nearby school come to eat here, making it extremely busy. Overall, I love this tiny hole in the wall, and I would come back for more!

We used to live around here and we used to come here for breakfasts every weekend. Honestly, it's my favorite breakfast place. It's cheap and delicious and the man behind the counter (Peter) is always kind. Husband's favourite is their bacon, mushroom and cheese burger with onion rings. Juicy beef patty and their onion rings are super crispy each time. My favourite is the eggs benedict with a side of breakfast sausages (everything well done, that way it's super crispy). I don't know anywhere else that has eggs benedicts for under $10. Toddler's favourite is the grilled cheese and it's not overly salty, which is great. I also love their lattes...it actually tasted like coffee and not watered down coffee with milk. And it's a really good price as well. Wish I still lived close to here...I miss my weekend breakfast place, but we make sure to drop by a visit every time we're in the area!

I go here twice a week for lunch after work. Service is always fast, really good prices and good serving sizes. You can happily lay down $20 here, get a big farmers breakfast and a coffee and still leave a good tip. They deserve it.
