Une semaine après ma demande de réservation, Europ Auto m'appelle pour me dire que finalement, aucune voiture n'est disponible pour les dates de mon voyage. Le monsieur au téléphone me dit qu'il ne peut rien m'offrir comme alternative et me raccroche presque au nez... J'ai trouvé de peine et de misère une voiture à louer auprès d'une autre compagnie, mais pour le double du prix... Avoir su, j'aurais directement fait affaire avec une compagnie fiable lorsqu'il y avait encore des disponibilités!
A week after my reservation request, Europ Auto calls me to tell me that finally, no car is available for the dates of my trip. The gentleman on the phone tells me that he can't offer me anything as an alternative and almost hangs up on me... I found with difficulty and misery a car to rent from another company, but for double the price... Having known, I would have done business directly with a reliable company when there was still availability!

Booked weeks in advance. 3 days before the trip I get a reminder email for my booking except it's been canceled because the credit card didn't go through. I was never told there was a problem.

the whole process, although more cumbersome than renting, went smoothly. pick up and return at paris airport went smoothly..we drove 8000 km through eastern europe without a hitch. brand new peugeot 308, so very comfortable. highly recommended.

Our experience was perfect. We picked up our Peugot Rifter at the airport in Rome and we returned it to the airport in Nice, France. The customer service on both ends were very professional. The drop off in Nice was on a holiday, as they were closed for the day, but came in anyways at 8pm to take the vehicle. The auto itself was great. Loved all the new features of the car. The GPS screen was large, the truck was the perfect size for the four of us and loved the lane indicator technology, which I had that on our vehicle back home. Our experience, again, was a very positive one and would highly recommend the services and also the vehicles....

The 2019 Peugeot 308 was delivered as promised at Marseille Airport. They set up the navigation and paired my cell phone. I had a 6 speed blue diesel (fuel is cheaper) and the stop and start function was very effective. I had a small scrap exiting a very tight parking lot lot and emailed the insurance which set up my claim, so the coverage is very good. Dropped my car off in Madrid without any problems. I fully recommend the new lease car over renting car companies on Europe trips.

Booked a trip a few months in advance along with a car rental from Europ Auto. Due to covid my trip was cancelled and Europ Auto has denied me a refund. People on the phone were rude and just wanted to get me off the line. They offered me some voucher to use but will not refund me the money. Times are hard during covid and they are taking advantage of it. Please be warned from these scammers

I left two voicemails within 45mins of each other on Saturday when they were closed. The first requesting cancellation. The second voiding the cancellation and to please call me unless they had maintained the reservation. They emailed me Monday (did not call) to cancel, and ignored my second voicemail in which I rescinded my cancelation and requested a callback. I can understand that they listened to the first voicemail first and made the cancelation. But when they got the second voicemail clearly expressing my desire to maintain a booking (and even asking a callback), why wouldn't they call me (or even email me) to clarify the situation to ensure customer satisfaction? When I later called to complain about the situation, they said they followed the instructions I gave them; they didn't take any share of responsibility for the situation. Beyond the lack of a requested callback, this wouldn't have been a problem if they were open on weekends and I had gotten someone on the line when I called in the first place (cancellation would have been immediate, and I would have promptly made a new booking). This also wouldn't have happened if they allowed you to cancel online (it just can't be done, you have to call or email). They also don't let you cancel within 72hrs of the rental date, which could have been a problem if I needed to change plans. In general competitors are open 24/7 to receive phone calls, allow you to cancel online, and allow you to cancel closer to the rental date. Given that other companies offer price matching, if you find a good price at EuropAuto I would recommend just asking another company to price match. You'll then get a good price with better customer service.
