Your level of personal strength, discipline, commitment, for example. You also become a part of a community in which everyone truly cares about each other. Along the way, of course, you are learning a traditional and demanding form of karate that will increase your physical strength, endurance and capacity for self-defense. I wouldn't train anywhere else.

They are taught the lesson that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well. They are taught that when something is difficult, you need to persevere to master it. They are taught that there are no short cuts. That is the correct way to do things and it teaches valuable life lessons. They have excellent instructors and there is a good healthy culture at the studio. My kids have trained there and they have really benefited, even they can see the change within!

Children join as young as 3 or 4 and are welcomed to a mixed-age class where each age is attended to with care and affection. The children learn Karate skills such as Katas as well as important life skills, such as manners, patience, respect and independence. I have sent my son there from age 4 til present time (9 yrs old). Children advance when they are ready and there is no pressure placed on them to achieve within a time limit. This works well for my son who has some learning challenges and sensitivities with time-pressured tasks that involve body-coordination. As a parent, I feel blessed to have found this Dojo. All of the instructors are professional, kind and extremely skilled. Highly recommended.
