★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Tatami king and we are very satisfied with the product. The only issue is the delivery process. Essentia has selected Fed Ex. They just dropped the huge and heavy box inside our apt and left. We were unable to install the bed or even open the box without asking for help. What happened to the white glove service we got sold?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently purchased a classic 8 matress as well as 2 pillows. We have been using the matress for over a month and we are pleased with the comfort of the matress. We were also happy with the service from Joanne in the showroom. We did however have an issue with one of the pillows and Essentia has since contacted me and resolved my issue and was they were very helpful. I would now completely recommend the product and customer service. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While ultimately the mattress didn't work out for me I had nothing but exceptional support from the Essentia team. Andrea in particular made sure I was taken care of and I'm left with only good things to say about my experience. I would encourage others to make their way into the store to try out the mattresses and it's great when the people behind the products are so professional and courteous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited a couple weeks to give this review to test it out.
Pros: Bed is great. Very comfortable (Classic 8), stays cool during the night and acts like a high end memory foam mattress without worrying as much about the dangers of off gassing.
Cons: Made my order the beginning of March and it only shipped from the plant at the end of April. I received my mattress on the 1st of May, almost 9 full weeks after making the order. Although I understand it's probably more to do with the company than this branch, the website explains that the mattress should be made in 15 business days max, plus then some for shipping. I worry about the 10 year warranty staying valid (company continuing to exist) if their regularly take that long to deliver their product. Hopefully they sort this stuff out as it's a really great product. Just make sure you order well ahead if you are ordering this mattress for a new place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we bought our mattress in Laval, Joanne was very kind and provided us with stellar customer service. We bought a Classic 8 and thought it was firm but that we would get used to it over time. After 3 months, we knew we wouldn't adapt (I weigh 150lbs and my spouse, 120) so we asked if we could upgrade. There seem to be no issue (the other one is almost 1K more expensive), but we have been following up 3 times in the last 7-8 days to get the customer service to send the documentation for us to proceed. We have another week done on a mattress that we feel is not adapted to us. On our last visit to the store in Laval, the front door was locked and we had to go through the head office to get someone to come with us to the store...we felt Joanne was gone but when we asked, we were vaguely told she was not there, period. Not sure what is happening...I will update if the service experience changes...
UPDATE: after another message left yesterday, no call back. Tried to reach Customer Service again today and got a general voicemail. Tried to call the store, and the phone is transferred to the same customer service voicemail... Not sure what is going on with them but I don't have a good feeling about it.
UPDATE: They finally exchanged our mattress and waived some fees without us having to ask for anything. So we had to wait but we ended up having a good service and the mattress we wanted. We are now happy with our purchase and our overall experience. Yes, we would recommend.

Ester, the customer service representative was very helpful and professional and went out of her way to help make purchasing this quality mattress a very easy and positive experience by promptly answering all our questions and surpassing all our expectations.
