Hello everyone I just wanted to say currently bought a fridge from Econoplus it was a refurbished fridge but apparently was supposed to be in good condition and only comes with a 3 month warranty on it so after 2 months the motor goes in it and they tell me after having $300 in food in my fridge that I should go buy a nice box and wait till Saturday when the guy shows up with other fridge that he can put in your house until we get yours repaired which I didn't really find that satisfactory considering having the kids in the house doesn't really work very well anyways that's the end of what I could tell you of this place and I would definitely not recommend anybody buying anything there because their service is very bad and they don't speak English.

They stole 2500$ and never delivered my stuff. I had to call the police to the store. DONT EVER BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEFS !!!!

I brought a $750 fridge for my restaurant with 3 months garantie written on the receipt. The temperature into the freezer is too cold that the ice cream is very solid like a rock...! I tried to set the controller to the lowest and waited a few day for it to adjust the temperature, but nothing changed. (I thought there might be a problem with temperature controller). I called the store for a technician to check out the problem. But not even yet come to check out the problem, he said the problem is unreparable. After a quite argument with him, he decided to send a technician over. The technician came, but nothing except measure the temperature inside the fridge and told me nothing he can do about it. Moreover, he charged me $100 for the service without giving me a receipt. I couldn’t believe as he did nothing but charged me 100$. What kind of customer service you are offering? The most disappointing is when I said that I want to refund a fridge, he said I can’t get a refund because the fridge is in good condition. SPEECHLESS!!!!! (This part is respond to the owner’s comment below) Yeah! It’s written on the sale contract, but every time I called for repair services. Your store didn’t accept that there is defect in the appliance you sold and trying to charged 100$ from us. Apart from the unsolved problem with the freezer, the temperature in the refrigerator isn’t cold enough. As I still had 1 week for the 3 months garantie, I called the store again. When the technician came, he measured the temperature inside the refrigerator, it was 8c. Without doing something to the fridge, he spent 15 mins talking on the phone and told me the problem cause by me sitting the fridge to Energy Saver. I told I already tried to set this setting off, but the fridge still not at the right temperature. He still insist there is nothing wrong with the fridge and trying to charge me another 100$. This time I said I won’t pay for that and he just left. Now after a few days after he set the Energy Saver off, we left the fridge closed over night and I checked the temperature inside the fridge in the morning, it’s 6c, still not cold enough for a fridge. I won’t call to the store again because this time they will say my garantie is over, then was it and they got their money. Hope someone who about to buy something from this store see and you BETTET NOT TO BUY anything from this store.

The staff takes enough time to explain everything to you well. But, about the price tags, Econoplus is not economic at all! Too much risk to buy. No refunds ; only exchanges. In the case of further damage during delivery, the exchange will be among other damaged items from another store (basically your choices are too low and you're obliged to take one). Their green icon made me think that they are some kind of ecological provider. Customer is definitely taken as a fool in the entire network of Econoplus stores.

Awful experience. I bought 4 appliances in Laval. The lady made a billing error and I was forced to pay a 105$ to prevent a fail of delivery. They stressed me out from work to pay it. As consumers we have rights and the merchant disregarded it and someone at their main office had the audacity to call me dishonest multiple time for me not be willing to pay the balance. The delivery was scheduled for tomorrow, I have a pregnant wife and I needed my appliances ASAP so I had to choice to cover the extra 105$. Let’s hope at least that they all work. I wish they counter reply my comments. Please go read articles 16, 40, 42 and 224c and start respecting customers.

It is the worst place ever to purchase an appliance. NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE. The prices are almost the same than The Brick. Last week I purchased a new fridge and they delivered one who does not work at all. They suggested to send a technician to repair the fridge (which is unacceptable because I purchased a new item) and I have been calling the entire day to make an appointment with the service department to solve my issue and they never answer. IT IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED

Don't waste your money. They "fix" those appliances to last for 1 year. They will give up on you right after the warranty is over. Fridge died after 15 months... dryer burned some clothes

The worst experience of buying I ever had in Laval! I bought a Landry washer and it causes me after juste few weeks of use a big water desaster. The company did want to refund anything and did not even admit that it was their faute. Thiefs
