β β β β β Great time of year for a walk. Was there October 23rd 2021 and found a deer tick on me when I got home. Just a reminder that ticks are still active and to check yourself and your pets over when you get home.

β β β β β Great hiking trails for technical hikers. There aren't too many more views overlooking Milton like other conservation areas close by. Including Rattlesnake Point.

β β β β β This is a Natural Area, not a Conservation area. What's the difference? Well there isn't a gatehouse, parking lot, or reservations. It's a very small looping trail. There's room for a couple cars next to two orange gates at each end of the area along Dublin Line. There is a handwritten note at the north end of Dublin Line advising that you are trespassing If you walk north of the end of the road. I imagine this is how most people get to the Bruce Trail to the bridge over the quarry.

β β β β β Great trails, check out the Dufferin Quarry Bridge Trail, worth the uphill climb for the view. Get the AllTrails app for good trail maps of this area. There's alot to explore!

β β β β β I ended up getting a bit lost trying to find the bridge that overlooks thee quarry, but after some time I found the proper trail. Beautiful sights from this location.

β β β β β Very nice trail with little to no foot traffic. To access the bridge you want to park by the golf course entrance, from there you will walk behind the barrier and make your way up hill. Appropriate hiking attire is recommended due to the rock and elevation changes. You will make your way to a split in the trail, proceed left to access the bridge above the quarry. One of the more adventurous trails in Halton. Nice views among the way.

β β β β β Great location for a quick bit of fresh air. It's a short hike, the oaths are well marked and easy when there is no snow. Trails are a little more difficult to find in the snow.
