A	Abid Peracha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Will not return back to him. I took my 05 outlander to him to get initial assessment. He said everything in the chassis is solid and recommended to get the struts. So I did, but the evap check engine light was on which he didn't take into account in his initial assessment. Next time I went there, he practically said the car is not worth fixing because of the rust on the upper part of the fuel tank. I just think this is something he should have told me BEFORE charging me the second time around during evap code check. Ed used to be honest, but I think his life has changed (woman) but sadly as a result of which he is now too greedy to trust. There are honest mechanics around town, just shop around before you goto him.

He is a truly great mechanic, I'm not sure if there is anything he can't fix (and fix correctly) or make go faster. His calm and patient demeanour is also a plus. He and his shop are world class. Thank you again Ed!
S	Sandy Antal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to a reputable repair shop! After a $6800. "repair" bill by ES Automotive, my car was running worse that before the problem they were supposed to fix. Recently, ES Automotive called to say my Mini Cooper was ready for pickup after conducting extensive timing related repairs. They noted that the timing issue was not entirely resolved since the engine was still running rough. Indeed, after some twenty miles, the car was warmed up and began to miss badly, barely able to hold an idle. A local repair shop in Lindsay found a faulty solenoid but added that he also found that the "engine was filled with filings" from the work on the cam shaft by ES. Two oil changes were needed to flush the bulk of these filings from the crankcase. The second timing fix cost another $972., bringing the total to almost $8000. After several phone calls to ES, the manager concluded (adamantly) that they had done their work correctly; that any problem that remained occurred after I removed the car from their lot was my problem; that the initial breakdown was my also fault since (contrary to the maintenance record) I had not done proper maintenance and that the root problem was with the "vanis". As his position was clear and final, there was no point in further discussion. It was also evident to me that that nothing short of litigation would bring these folks to reason. It is my considered opinion that this unhappy lose-lose affair was attributable to incompetent workmanship coupled with irresponsibility on the part of ES Automotive. For anyone wishing to avoid costly bills for poor work, I would recommend a reputable repair shop.
