★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small site, but some fun exhibits and an excellent gift shop. Well worth a visit, especially for those interested in the War of 1812, Sault Ste. Marie history and/or the fur trade.
There is a garden as well as several buildings. Very easy to get to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum, but very friendly staff. It's a quick tour during down season (march) because one of the sites is closed. Lots of very informative parts of Canadian history. Cute souvenir shop with local goods. We missed the introduction video because there was a group of seniors lawn bowling inside, so we didn't mind. Worth a visit to support local history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved seeing the inside of the house. The story of the house was interesting as well. There was a bridal party there taking pictures so that was a bit awkward.
