★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think like most people, I was always sceptical about going fishing with a guide. While I pondered for years over the benefits of a guided tour of Sault Ste. Marie's fishery, I got brave and pulled the trigger by reaching out to Tyler Dunn via Instagram. I had heard of Tyler through a few different sources but what really made me want to choose him was from the footage on "The New Fly Fisher" (not to mention all those nice catches he posts on Insta). My buddy and I made the 5 hours drive south to the Sault and the next morning were up nice and early to join Tyler at the boat launch. We spent the morning drifting for steelhead and missed a few fish. My friend and I certainly broke a record for most snagged bait and tackle but Tyler was always very patient and ready to set our rods up as we went. After lunch we tackled the rapids which can seem intimidating to someone as inexperienced at river fishing as us but Tyler helped us break down every part of the river and before long we were onto some King and Coho salmon. We learnt more than we could have imagined and had a blast overall. If you're on the fence about booking a trip, don't hesitate. Just do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tyler brought my son and I out ice fishing for splake. We had a great day, where we caught some nice spake as well as plenty of perch. A knowledgeable angler, Tyler was a great guide. We’ll definitely be back to the Soo and will take Tyler out with us again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Family Experience. Our Family visited Sault Ste Marie on a road trip. Tyler was easy to communicate and arranged a customized experience for our family with 3 kids. He was very helpful the entire time and had lots of patience for my sons' many questions. Each of the kids even got to ride a boat which was a thrill. We got some great pictures and made some great memories. Thank you Tyler!
