He is a board-certified Family Physician with over 16 years of clinical experience. He started his career as a family physician in Nigeria in 2005 after he obtained his Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2004. He worked as a family physician in Nigeria before he moved to Canada in 2012.
During his practice in Nigeria, he obtained a Master Of Public Health From the University of Lagos and also a Master of Science in Global Health Policy and Management, From Heller School of Management, Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, USA.
Doctor MAf has research experience and has co-authored a few scholarly articles and publications while in Waltham, MA.
After he relocated to Canada, he has worked as a full-service Family Physician in Hudson Bay, SK, covering the primary health care clinic, emergency room, in-patient and long term care facilities and also does family practice at Vineyard Medical Clinic, Seton, Calgary, AB

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a walk-in needing a prescription for antibiotics, and despite waiting a little longer than expected, had a very good experience with this clinic. Staff were very friendly, and Dr. Mafowosofo was kind and attentive. I will definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Mafowosofo was so helpful in getting me my prenatal results after my own doctor lost them for two days and then refused to give them to me until a week later (she only works two days a week - also this was a private test I paid $500 for). I went to see Dr. Mafowosofo as a walk in and he saw me quickly, called dynacare for me and waited on hold forever, and gave me my results immediately. He was very compassionate and just a really nice person. The woman at front desk was also really nice and efficient. Nice bright and new clinic. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have the worst experience with Dr Moses Mafowosofo. I came into his new clinic with my FIRST pregnancy that l was really excited about. First, he said:”Before you get excited, let’s wait for the first ultrasound if even the baby has the right placement and a heart (which l believe he meant heartbeat, but English isn’t his first language). Then, he wrote down a requisition for a blood work, where he forgot to add thyroid even after me telling him multiple times that l have to get my thyroid checked.
When taking my and my partner’s family history, he asked about my partner’s race and looking at him said “Caucasian, right” even though he is very clearly Asian. So l wonder if Dr Moses is incompetent or just indifferent to his patients.
I didn’t feel safe to have Dr Moses as my family doctor, so l left and will never come back nor will ever recommend him to anyone that cares about their health or health of their baby!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from the doctors I have had in Montreal, Dr. Moses is a breath of fresh air. From calling the clinic the first time, to booking an appointment and going into the clinic, it was the easiest and best medical service I received in a long while. He is a great doctor for my family.
The ladies at the front desk too are amazing. Always quick to pick up calls, very kind on the phone, books appointments right away for you, unlike other clinics that are terrible and hard to get hold of. I definitely recommend this doctor and clinic to anyone looking.
