From time to time I need a rental car . Is enterprise rent a car is always there for me ready and willing to help me. Go to their office I'm in-and-out with a nice car. Enterprise is a great experience we are lucky to have them in Peterborough.

When I picked up my car, they told me to look out for damage that is golf ball sized or larger. When I dropped the vehicle off, it was a different story and they suddenly become rather unreasonable when inspecting the car. So now I have a claim against me in what is clearly a money grab, for damage that is no where close to the "golf ball" damage, that took me about 15 minutes and the most awkward of angles to find. To make matters worse, the staff member we were dealing with refused to get a 2nd opinion from the several staff members at the location, probably because he was being dishonest. I highly recommend never using this rental agency. However, if you are forced into it by insurance or opportunity, please take very good photographs of the condition you get the vehicle in. Attached is a photo for good measure. Edit: Within an hour of posting my review, Enterprise has contacted me and provided me with an email address. I've sent all the requested information to that email and have heard nothing, not even a confirmation that they received an email. So to anyone reading this thinking it has been resolved, it hasn't.

Staff were great but don't ever leave anying in the vechile when you return it. If you do, they don't call you and tell you. They just throw it out. I have to now replace my ownership and insurence slips for my car that needed to be fixed after a car accident.

Good Vehicles, Nice & Cleaned and well maintained as well. A great customer service experience I had with the staff. I had some issues with my reservation but they resolved it and offered me a good service. Friendly staff and I’m totally satisfied with my 9-day rental experience.

Kind and helpful staff! I have been using this location during COVID and they make sure everything is cleaned, sanitized and ready before you leave. I wish they were still offering the pick you up option but I understand it is part of the COVID mesures.

I rented a car this weekend had many appointments a birthday party out of town. I picked up the car and within 30 minutes the car started overheating. I pulled over on the side of the Highway, I called they were closed. I called CAA was on hold for more than 2 1/2 hours for them to tell me that it would be a 5 1/2 hour wait on the side of the highway before I would have any assistance. I missed all of my appointments had somebody else come and pick me up. I was told to drive the car to the airport which was the closest location to pick up a new one. The person on the phone wanted me to drive an overheating car which could blow a gasket and possibly injure myself to the airport to pick up another car when I told him that was impossible because I was two and a half hours away from the airport minimum. Another 2 hours while my sister picked me up andy friends towed the car. After sitting on the road from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. I was livid my entire day was ruined because the rental company did not check the car before renting it out to other people. They put myself in danger and then when I dropped the car back they still charged me $137 I called to rectify the situation explained everything.I spoke to Shannon. She was so sweet and accommodating and refunded me. Their service is great and even though I had a bad experience they were accommodating.

Normally Enterprise is a good agency and the staff are friendly and helpful, however this review is because I just had a very bad experience, and I think management should know about it. Little background story... My vehicle was written off due to collision, and I got a rental vehicle from Enterprise as a replacement offered by insurance company until I purchase a new vehicle or settle the claim. When claim was settled, I agreed with insurance company that they will stop paying for the rental vehicle by end of Nov 13, and I will take care of the cost from that date until I return the rental vehicle, and I called Enterprise and informed them about it, and they agreed. They called me two weeks after to put a hold on my credit card until I return the vehicle which I agreed to. I was supposed to go there yesterday, but I got caught up at work, so they called again today and we agreed that I will visit today to put the hold on my cc. Now here is where my bad experience starts.. I visited the place, and the staff there, James, asked to hold a certain amount on my credit card. I checked on my mobile banking to make sure I have sufficient funds, and gave him the go ahead to hold the amount, but to my surprise he said that it was declined! I asked him to try again, but he said that they can only try once every 24 hours, and that he can't keep the vehicle with me!!! I tried to show him that I have sufficient funds, but he refused to check as he didn't want to see my personal banking info which is understandable, but he did not make any effort whatsoever to help, and did not agree to keep the vehicle with me till next day to come back and try again. Instead, he just sent a driver with me to drive me back home!! I understand a policy is a policy, and the staff have to follow it, but the behavior and the attitude need to be addressed here. Do employees put themselves in customer's shoes? Is it really customer's fault if system declined a transaction despite having sufficient funds? Is it customer's fault if you cannot make more than one attempt in a day? Is it really impossible to keep the vehicle with the customer for another day to come back and try on the next day specially that you have the customer's contact details and address and ID? Is this how a good company like Enterprise treats customers? I wish higher management can read this and answer me.

I've never had such a consistent customer service experience - the Lansdowne branch and its team have all been so helpful, kind, and compassionate (during what has been a particularly challenging time). I can't speak highly enough about how wonderful everyone has been. Thank you so much again!
