★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're building a home and you need expert service and advice and GREAT PRICES, this is the place! We just finished building our dream home out in the Kawarthas, and we are sooooo happy with our hardware! Husband only goes for the big brands, and he says he got exactly what he needed from Empire every time. The staff at Empire (we dealt with John and Harry) are super helpful - we built a pool house in our backyard with a cabana and wet bar. Of course, we have all the handles matching, as well as the commercial door closer (to keep the mosquitoes out!) in a beautiful brass colour. We get so many compliments on our pool house that we are tickled pink! Don't even get me started on the kitchen... And the mahogany front doors with the traditional shiny Baldwin set. It takes my breath away every time! And did I mention the pool house. OMG. I can't say enough good things about the quality and service we received from them. Never going back to Home Depot. Ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Empire Hardware has a huge selection of hardware. We went in to get locks and handles and were very pleasantly surprised by what we saw. The staff is super friendly and super helpful and went to every length to make us happy. Prices are very very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
