She did not like being away from home, but she loved how warm it was here and how they did everything they could to make her feel comfortable and safe and happy. Well, here we are two years later and Dad needs a permanent home. The first and only place we came was here at Embassy West. The staff was still the same and the feel was warmer than ever. Everyone remembered my whole family the second we walked in and that was a great feeling. The care, love and happiness from the staff and residents make this the best choice of home for both the resident and the family visiting.

They all look similar but it was with help of social worker from hospital that I got to ask right questions. I went to Embassy West and met the leasing manager and his team and I was very impressed with their expertise and knowledge. They helped and guided me during each step. I was very impressed that they do full care including palliative care which means I won’t need to look for another place for my grandmother as she is already very fragile. Most homes refused saying they could not accommodate my grandmother as she needed help with feeding and mechanical lift for transfer but when I met Embassy West they seemed that it was a normal thing for them. They have doctor on call 24 hours and full lab which made it convenient for my granny and myself as I don’t need to spend money on private transfers to bring her to blood work clinic or dentist. Its been 3 months that my grandmother has been residing at Embassy West and I am very happy and pleased. The nursing staff is very knowledge and caring which gives me comfort in knowing that she is at right place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for assisted living and does not want to move their loved one again

At this point in her life, my mother needs a lot of assistance to do regular activities, and the staff looks after her wonderfully. It is a huge relief to know that she is in safe, capable hands. I would highly recommend Embassy West Senior Living!

The staff are friendly, caring, and overall very welcoming. Mom has improved in her overall well being, and is generally happier. The nursing staff is approachable and its nice to have medical services on site to limit outside appointments.
L	L S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Embassy West is a wondrous residence ! We were taken on a tour of the residence by Anuj, very personable manager, well-informed and in tune to his staff and resident. They were always greeted by name and happy to help their residents. Seems like a small detail but it tells you a lot. There was a crossword game in the common room at our visit, well-attended and they were all engaged and having fun. They have a lovely chapel and dining room, big theatre room, a pool ! and a physiotherapy office on site. They offer independent living and assisted living. There is a waiting list, not too long and unfortunately my father was not eligible as he now requires long-term care. But my best friend and I were very impressed and would not hesitate in the future to get on the list ! Highly recommend this quiet classy residence !

My mother stayed at another care facility and she was very unhappy and we were very concerned. At Embassy West, ALL staff including the kitchen, management, nurses, PSW's are simply amazing and give personalized attention and care and the facility is very clean. If there are any changing circumstances or issues to be looked at, they look into it in a very timely fashion, rectify it and communicate very effectively. I would recommend Embassy West to anyone who is looking for great quality care.
D	Deitra Kimpton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Mum was there from March 2017 until March 2018, when she passed away. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her to be for her last year. The staff are so caring and treat their residents as almost family. Any questions or concerns I had were dealt with swiftly and professionally. The chef there prepares a variety of good homemade dishes. There is always some sort of activity going on throughout each day. There is even an on-site physiotherapy company which Mum had personal contact with and were a great help to her post-stroke. Don't judge a book by its cover. Although, for those of us who grew up in Ottawa, it still has the appearance of the Embassy West Hotel, in the end, what is most important is to find somewhere for your loved one where you can go to sleep at night knowing that there is caring watchful eye being kept on them. It doesn't matter if there aren't fancy decorations. It matters that your loved one is being cared for with love and compassion.
