★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful each visit, especially so during those inevitably sad visits liminal to a long happy healthy life. We're fortunate to have a vet so experienced with rabbits and guinea pigs. Thanks Petra from us, Gordon, Elenore and of course Ernie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This veterinarian hospital has some very good people and Vets.
Our issue was complicated and unresolved, and very poorly handled by this firm.
The admin at the counter has atrocious Client management skills, completely devalued our situation and we were forced to go to VAC and pay much higher rates.
It's sad. This particular admin handled this sensitive situation so poorly, we have moved our files to an new veterinarian after 2+ years of being with Elk Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here are absolutely lovely. My dog is old, blind and afraid of shiny floors so going inside wasn't really an option. We were able to have him looked over and his rabies vaccination done outside in the grass. Thank you so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking my small animal's here for 6 years and could not be happier with the care and services offered. The staff are fantastic with me and the animal's. They have been helpful and very accommodating during a couple of difficulties I have had with my boys.
My border collie adores being able watch the sheep and other animals on the property.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot give this place enough compliments! Got my 2 years old male cat vaccined and neutered here. Unlike other places, the doctor here gave him two shots that could last for 3 years. It saved my money as well as the panic of my cat baby!! Also after the neutering surgery my boy recovered in less than two days without any problems or painful experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to get to by bus, unfortunately you can't take your pet on the bus. Great service from Dr. McDowell and her staff, my dog loves the cheese spray, he probably dreams about it. The service was great during covid, loved the umbrellas for the cars, it's great to come inside now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The vets are amazing, but their prices have increased significantly in the last few years. I believe it was stated it was due to increased costs however I now know there are other vets in town not even close to the extreme price point they charge that care for your pets just as much.
I recommend them so long as you have no budget. If you have a budget, keep looking around.
I say this with the utmost respect to the staff there, just being honest. Thank you for what you do, I'm sure it isn't easy.
