I've been cutting my own hair for years, it's very hard to find someone who understands the style I have. I spent 3 days trying to find a place I trusted and I was absolutely Blown Away with the service at RedBloom! I had Allison and she was amazing, she listened to me and understood exactly what I wanted. I have to say it was the first time I was excited to go in and get my haircut after meeting with her!! Thank you guys so much! Beautiful shop, great service, amazing stylists!!

Heather is awesome!! My young daughter took me there for a haircut. Was very leery, but staff were awesome and nothing was forced on me.

I’ve been looking for a new Salon, and was curious to see if RedBloom could live up to its “Best of Calgary” title. Guest Service and experience were great from the moment I arrived at reception, to the moment I left with my new hair! Well done; I'm so glad I tried you guys! Top 3 Things about the RedBloom experience that stood out to me: receptionists and stylists are very pleasant and address you by name; you are asked to fill out a “Guest Experience Menu” before your service starts (so the experience can be customized to you – you can indicate how chatty you are feeling; you’re able to select your 2 complimentary services such as a hot towel treatment, scalp massage, hand massage, etc; and you can specify any issues you’re having with your hair). Lastly, you are provided with a price quote before the service starts, so there are no surprises at the end and it gives you the opportunity to add/remove items from your service before any work is done (I appreciate this type of transparency/honesty). Heather was my stylist, and she was fantastic! Super personable and friendly, and knew how to gauge my "chattiness level" (just the right amount of casual chatting, and not annoying). The thing I liked the most about her, was her honesty, confidence and knowledge in helping me make decisions re: colour and cut -- it's my pet peeve when some people just say to me "I don't know...it's really up to you and what you think you'll like". Heather was definitely not that; once she heard what I wanted/liked, she was confident and certain in her recommendations, patiently answered all my questions and explained things to me, and then took the lead to work her magic...which all made it easier for me to trust her. In the end, my hair was amazing - we took it from long to short (ended up with a long bob, just past my chin), and took it from light to dark, with ashy-brown highlights. I absolutely loved the result, and will definitely be back to see Heather again! Kudos to Heather for converting me into a permanent RedBloom guest!

This was my first visit and it was AMAZING. Troy, the owner, was my stylist. I have naturally curly hair in a pixie cut. It takes a lot of talent to do this precision cut properly. Troy nailed it. I have never been happier with my hair. Also, I LOVE that they have gender neutral pricing. The salon experience- also a 10/10. The staff is fantastic and the extras they provide made my visit beyond perfect. I can’t say enough about my visit.

I went in the other day to get my first hair cut since the start of the pandemic and I was super impressed! They take COVID protocols very seriously, I got an amazing haircut, and left with a little gift bag full of samples of hair products and some tea with an infuser. My new favourite hair salon! ?

I've just recently tried adding some color and new styles to my hair and was pretty nervous about changing it up - but after 2 haircuts I've been getting tons of compliments from random strangers, definitely best hair cuts I've gotten in my life!

I got my hair cut by Gordon at Redbloom Downtown and had the best haircut of my entire life! The salon took my safety very seriously, ensuring distance and dividers between clients, as well as sanitizing everything before and after use (shampoo station sink, etc). Gordon was so friendly and fun, listened to what I wanted, and totally delivered. After 17 months without a haircut, this was the best experience I could ever ask for.
