This is the worst place to live and you will never get any privacy, If you rent here i say good luck or move on, all you will do is keep on making complaints after complaints and the more you make complaints , management and districk manament won't do anything about it. Management will only do to give them warning after warning. I have live here for over a year and a bit and by far the worst place i ever live in. Once your in, they don't care at all,The place is always dirty and dirty. Elevator is always dirty and you don't wanna touch anything inside cos its that dirty, not only that dog pee on the floor as well and it never gets clean up. It has a sign out side the building saying its a community but is a noise cummunty . An other thing to is that its a barking community as well, bark after bark .This place likes to keep idiots in the building and let the good ones go. Good luck if you choose to live here cos i will never rent from any boardwalk ever again.
C	C. J. Carson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ False advertising. I called and talked to the leasing agent Don and was quoted 985 for a one bedroom with a balcony that has views of the Stampede grounds. This was on par with what the ads showed online. I show up 3 hours later and am shown a bottom floor unit with a view of the street and no balcony. I ask about the unit I was told about on the phone and he says its been rented. So I ask how much this unit was (assuming itd be cheaper, since this is a much lesser unit) and I was quoted 1085.. What a joke. Boardwalk is notorious for doing stuff like this. Never rent with them

I used to live in a Boardwalk for 18 years previous to my last residence (6 years) and when I returned not only did I find my favourite maintenance general Ken working at my new place but found all the community events that they are now involved in...was very pleased to return to the Boardwalk family after a few years away.
J	Justin Tennant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lived here for 2 years, first year I was constantly lied to about upgrades to my suite ie: new flooring, new fridge, ECT. Never happened. I signed a second year lease after they told me they'd continue paying the cable and power, 3 months into the 2nd year I received a bill from telus for approx $500. Tried for months to get my money out of boardwalk but basically got told to f*#k myself and take them to court. Customer service and building managers have little to no people skills and prefer to bullish!t you instead of doing their jobs. Also had numerous building memos to inform me that half the building is infested with bedbugs. I'd get these memos at least every 3 months. All in all its just a building in a great location run by greedy slumlords. If you took the time to read this and still move in, remember you were warned.

The proximity to the elbow is great specially in the summer where you can hang in the beach. The building is well maintained with staff working Monday to Friday to keep it clean and we'll maintained. Laundry suite in every floor, nice renovated gym, security card access, pet friendly.

I have lived at Elbow Tower over 4 years and have always felt in good hands. Our team of Manish, Peter and Ken will be terribly missed. They are respectful, always available in person or by phone, they listen and they take action when required. Any repair issues with my apartment have been handled professionally by Ken. Any questions or concerns I've had, have been answered and resolved by Peter or Manish, in such a caring manner. Thanks to you, Manish, Peter and Ken for making me feel safe, welcome, and 'at home' at Elbow Tower. You will be terribly missed by so many.

There was on site representation, you could see maintenance and cleaning staff doing a great job in upkeeping the building and 24 hour security was available. Not to mention that all staff were very friendly. Recently though, the building was purchased by FirstService Residential and has gone down hill in a hurry. There is no longer 24 hour security available and very limited security measures in place, aside from fobs required to access the front door. Additionally there is no onsite representation and staff have been unresponsive to emails and requests. The building has been dirty, especially the garbage and laundry facilities. I no longer enjoy living here and will be looking for new rentals.

Subsequent to a change in the building management company, the new company has exercised extensive cost cutting measures that include cancelling in site security contracts. This has led to an immense increase to squatters and homeless individuals occupying areas outside the building including the parking lot. Do not move here, it is not a safe place to live.
