My husband and I sold our home in Whitby Ontario in December 2020. We wanted to move out of the city so we were referred to Elaine by the realtor who sold our home. During our hunt for our "forever home" we saw homes, new homes, and property. During visits to other homes, as a retired Registered Nurse, I was in awe of how Elaine made COVID precautions important. She brought her own wipes to wipe door knobs as we viewed homes. Her introduction was via a video email. My husband and I immediately liked her. She was very friendly and approachable. During our "hunt" we ended up putting an offer in on a acre of land that we are building our forever home on. Elaine is very detailed oriented and noticed that the listing agent had made a major error in where he placed the "for sale" signs that stood infront of 3 lots in a row. The night we were going to sign off on our purchase offer, she noticed that the lot we thought we were buying had been mis labelled as lot 4. She immediately got into action. We thought we were going to lose the lot as the seller had decided to increase the listing price in the mists of a major boom in sales in the area. We decided to walk away from the land. Broken hearted we decided to look elsewhere. A week later we got the best news from Elaine. She had managed to get our lot for us at the cost we wanted. In June 2021 my husband lost his battle against cancer. Elaine was very supportive. Through this whole process of looking for our forever home and then deciding to buy our beautiful lot, Elaine could see and support our vision. She continues to stay in touch, unlike other agents. Sometimes she will send a "wee" message with pictures of her standing in our driveway infront of our new build noting how great things are looking. We are staying in an Air B and B in Scarborough while our home is under construction so it's great to hear from her. We (I), cannot say enough about her professionalism and knowledge. As a person... phenomenal!! I would refer her in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking to sell or purchase a home/land. I have dealt with many real estate agents in the past and Elaine is by far the best I have ever had the privilege of working with. She is very pleasant, professional, thorough, and the hardest working real estate agent I have ever met. She always answers my many questions promptly and if for any reason she doesn't know the answer, she finds the right answer and lets me know ASAP. Our kids even professed their love to her when the sold sign went up! ☺️

Elaine helped us in our search for an acreage to build on, and was instrumental in finding the ideal property for us. She listened well to what we were looking for and encouraged us to consider some areas we hadn't initially thought about. She was really helpful in discovering information not initially disclosed by the seller and was very helpful in guiding our due diligence to confirm the land was buildable. We highly recommend Elaine, she's a true professional.

Elaine was wonderful to work with when were in the process of buying our new home. Since we’re new to the area we relied on her vast knowledge of the area as well as what to look for when viewing a house. She was always very patient and quick to respond to any questions we had.
