The menu was a lot different than it used to be, with fresh fish (ceviche-like), and there were a lot of different sauces out that were really amazing. I'm not a Karen so I'm not leaving fewer than five stars because post-pandemic everyone who managed to survive deserves five stars but I am curious about the food.

That all changed last year for tacos and wandering around wasn't really an option. Once I tasted the food, I was disappointed in myself for not going sooner. It hit the spot. It had all the tastes I was craving. I have had the pollo asado, carne asada, patoe and shrimp baja style but my fave is chorizo. I have it all the time and I always ask for a fork so I can eat whatever fell out of my taco into my dish. I should be more adventurous but the chorizo is so perfect. However both the birria and pozole soups are calling out for me. I plan to try them when the cold weather arrives...

While dinner itself was amazing, the best part was the little slice of heaven for dessert, the Tres Leches cake was AMAZING! Also loved looking at all the décor around the restaurant.

Here, we ordered the Tacos de Birria con Queso (comes with four tacos, grilled together with cheese, topped with slow cooked beef marinated in Mexican chiles salsa, with a side of birria consommé, cilantro, onions, limes, and salsa). Super delicious! We also got some Tacos Baja Style, specifically the Pescado (deep fried battered fish, served in a blue corn tortilla). This was definitely good, but maybe not what I would try again here. I would opt for the birria or new dishes.
