M	Michelle Powell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have frequently changed family doctors due to moving often; this is by far the worst doctors office I’ve ever been to. They NEVER pick up the phone nor do they take messages. I have been calling them multiple times a day for 4 days now. It’s to the point that I may need to drive 45 minutes all the way there just to talk to them. This is ludicrous. I get that it’s busy, but don’t take on too many patients that you can’t handle. Every appointment, I’m left waiting at least half an hour after my appointment time to get seen by the doctor, only to get the most rushed, unconcerned bedside manner. There are always 2 receptionists there, so what on earth are they doing all day that they can’t pick up one phone call? Oh, and did I mention I was also charged for missing an appointment that I could not cancel because they wouldn’t pick up the phone after numerous attempts? Ridiculous.
K	K D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently learnt the difficult news that I had had a silent miscarriage. I suspected something was wrong but the ultrasound technician wouldn't tell me anything. The doctors office received the results of my ultrasound at 8am on Friday morning. Despite numerous calls and pleading with the reception staff, I didn't hear back from the doctor until 7pm on Friday night. So the entire day was spent in HUGE anxiety, dreading a phone call that took 11 hours to finally come. Because the doctor took so long to get to my case she wasn't able to send a referral to Women's Health to have a DNC performed until Monday morning. She sent zero information with the referral and again, despite numerous calls to Women's Health, they didn't get back to me until Monday at 5:30pm. By that time all the available timeslots were booked and I now have to wait until February 27th. Almost two whole weeks after I found out that I had miscarried. This is never a pleasant experience but the combined lack of responsiveness from West Coast Imaging (the ultrasound technician), Eighth Avenue Family and Maternity AND Women's Health has made this experience truly horrific.
D	Danielle T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, I don’t recommend my regular doctor at this clinic at all, but I highly recommend Doctor Connolly. She is absolutely amazing. She has helped me immensely over the past 10 months. She remembers both of my kids and takes the time needed to answer any questions I may have. She isn’t rushed at all. In fact, I was desperate to see someone a few weeks ago for my son, and no doctor was available. She actually ended up staying late so I could avoid taking two kids to Children’s Emergency. The appointment wasn’t even for my daughter, and she was already staying late for my son, but she even made time to check my daughter for some previous concerns as well. She is patient, kind and has impeccable bedside manner. The only doctor I’ve ever had issues with at this clinic is Doctor Craggs. Everyone else has been great!
A	Avital Ness on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. de Valence is absolutely wonderful. Caring, professional, patient. She was willing to patiently discuss different options with me to put my mind at ease. Really an amazing doctor. The reason for the 4 stars is the wait time: Appointments tend to run late, at least by 40 minutes and usually by a lot more. There's no open wifi at the waiting area so every appointment means missing almost half a day of work, which can weight heavy on some patients
T	Tad Bain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expect long wait times to be taken into your appointment and long times to get an appointment (2-3 weeks) but I LOVE dr vogler. she has been the best physician I've ever dealt with and is willing to discuss your options with you instead of giving you one option. I would recommend her a thousand times over and I would follow her to any clinic. If they could lower wait times and make appointments easier to get right away I would leave 5 stars.
A	Audrey Zahir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, the receptionists are busy and some doctors do keep you waiting, but my family and I have received excellent care at 8th Ave. As a maternity patient especially I always felt really comfortable and cared for. I feel really lucky to have had a group of doctors I could trust to help me through my pregnancy, and now to look after my baby.
S	Stephanie Taniguchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It can be frustrating waiting a long time when they're behind on appointments but it's understandable given the amount of time they spend with the patients actually listening and caring about your health. I've been with Dr. De Valence for over a year now, she took me through my first pregnancy and now almost a year of care with my little one. Every visit she is incredibly thorough and kind. There's even been times where she's thought of things after my departure and called me to discuss issues further. I've moved out of Vancouver but make the drive in just to continue care with her. To add, when I was giving birth I had a few doctors from this clinic come visit me at my bed while on rotation as well, and all of them were amazing. I've also never had an issue with reception. They've been prompt with responding to emails and they're usually pretty polite when checking in.

Only giving them 3 out of 5 stars because reception is mostly NOT FRIENDLY and would raise their voices to their patients! I do not appreciate attitude like that because it ruins my day! And def today, that TAMMI was EXTREMELY RUDE. You can tell from the way she talked to me! If you are working to places like this with most moms like me has always a lot of things happening in a day, BE SURE TO TALK TO THEM NICELY AND PROFESSIONALLY because PEOPLE LIKE TAMMI can surely make places like this will have bad reputation.
