I had physiotherapy treatments and my condition seemed to improve although I still feel pain at the end of my shoulder range of motion. Then, I decided to try Acupuncture treatments and lo and behold, I woke up one day not feeling the pain anymore from my right shoulder! Christina Cecconi is an AMAZING acupuncturist!!! She had treated me with laser treatment. Thanks to her, I'm back now to my usual activity and very happy with my decision to try acupuncture.

When I first went for treatment, I was a total skeptic of "alternative" therapies. However, Lorne's treatments completely cured me, and I've been a believer ever since. I would 100% recommend Lorne, Kali and everyone else at the Acubalance Wellness Centre!

Dr. Lorne Brown treated me and had terrible bedside manner (pushy and aggressive) and was the classic "mansplainer". My first appointment there he sat me in a chair, pulled up very close to me and after a short discussion said "well let me tell you about the birds and the bees". I had to do a double take as it sounded like he was talking to a 5 year old child. I am a highly educated woman with a solid career and regardless of that it is beyond condescending to speak to a grown woman that way. He then proceeded later in the conversation to tell me that he treats all his patients like his "wife". Which I felt was entirely inappropriate. Later he prescribed me herbs that I had a hard time taking to which his response was "I only work as hard as my patients work" which was very demotivating. Additionally the vitamins they prescribed are extremely over priced as you can get the same contents of the ones they sell for half the price elsewhere. I then decided to leave (unfortunately after already spending a small fortune there) and went to Acummamas which was the best decision I ever made. They treat all women with respect and treat you as a capable individual instead of a child that needs to be told what's what.

I am not a fan of acupuncture in general, but was doing it at the recommendation of my doctor. When I am told that a session will last a certain amount of minutes, I expect that the professional treating me will return at that time. Instead I was left there and told that was the nature of a "busy day." For $100/hr I expect the acupuncturist to return when they say they will. There was no apology, instead I was told I should have "buzzed" for someone to come. Also, when I booked with someone else for my next treatment, they gossiped to them about me. Not ok. Not to mention gauging women going through IVF with a $330 charge for a day-of transfer treatment (in total about 20 minutes IF that) is egregious. Anyone going through IVF - even if your fertility doctor recommends Acubalance I suggest you go somewhere else. You will spend less money and hopefully be treated far better!

I've also really enjoyed and benefited from my naturopathic visits with Kali as well! I can't recommend them enough!

Unlike my doctor who was quick to prescribe pills for my anxiety and stress, we worked on unravelling my story and healing not only my body but my mind and spirit too. Kathleen is an emphatic, skilled and gentle healer. So grateful to have found her!! The results we achieved in a short time were astounding. I highly recommend Ambulance Wellness Center and Kathleen!

Great staff, the ladies at the front desk are very nice and have been so understanding when I had to cancel appointments when my dog was sick. Allison has been my acupuncturist and she has been nothing short of amazing! She truly cares so much, listens, is understanding and gives great advice. Allison is very gifted at what she does and has immense knowledge. She makes you feel calm and really helped me so much through my IVF process. I have a very hard time getting my mind to shut off and cannot sit still, but found my appointments to be relaxing and therapeutic. Allison, I cannot thank you enough for all of your help through this journey! I am 4.5 weeks pregnant so far and I truly feel if I hadn't gone to Acubalance and met Allison that I would not be where I am today. She really helped me to relax even when I didn't know how. Thank you!!
