I was blessed to come to sandstone . The staff are absolutely amazing. They treated me with such kindness and compassion and I am grateful for all they have taught me . Literally every person in this facility has lifted me up and helped me become the person I wanted to be .

Found several of the staff very ingenuine. Particularly the senior staff I also noted that there were what I considered, at least in my case, severe breaches of privacy and serious breaches of concerns for my personal health. I was there when the Covid19 broke out. They implemented safety protocols but didn't adhere to the screening protocol at all. It was essentially pointless and did nothing to enhance safety concerning the virus. Also I felt like I was being treated like a 5 year old most of the time. They have some ridiculous rules and don't seem to appreciate personal individualism Different strokes for different folks is alien to them. On a more serious note I soon concluded that they are there primarily for the money and your health came a distant second to "counting beans". at $1000/day I would seriously consider value for money before entering this program. I also recommend asking as many questions as possible to gain the best possible understanding of what you're getting yourself into before committing. Also I was there for over 2 weeks and received virtually none of the individual counselling I was assured of, I found this to be very disappointing. They also claim "this is not a 12 steps program..." this is a complete lie! I would not even have gone in the first place had I known this. On the good side the kitchen staff (chefs) were great. Very amiable and professional, and the food was always delicious. The facility is clean and very well set up. You can also smoke outside if you wish. I feel I have been very kind with my review and could have made many more complaints. I wish anyone entering any detox rehab facility all the best in their journey to a successful recovery Its not easy but it is definitely one of the biggest accomplishments anyone can ever make. Your reward comes in a better quality of life across the board. Best wishes!

I did the 28 day inpatient treatment at sandstone. It was amazing. The staff, councillors, and the support staff were all wonderful. I learned so much and felt confident that with the knowledge and tools I was given to continue on my road to recovery. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction.

Hi This is Trent. My stay at Sandstone was November 2019. The counselling staff were very knowledgeable and highly trained. Support staff were there 24 hours a day to help with anything. On -site doctors and nurses were highly respectful and professional. Best of all, the chefs were incredible cooks and friendly! i have been to rehabilitation centers before, and this experience was superior. The staff was fantastic and the counselling sessions are amazing. The food is extraordinary and its a comfortable warm setting. I look forward to continuing on with the intensive outpatient program. Thank you Sandstone!

The EHN Sandstone program and staff provided me with the guidance, counseling and tools to move into the next chapter of my life, sober and healthy. I dealt with many past haunting issues, and loss, in conjunction with the cognitive behavior therapy to become sober. The staff were warm, professional, accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen staff and food were five star. I highly recommend this program.

I recently stayed at EHN Sandstone Calgary and despite not having anything to compare it to, I only have great things to say about this facility. The staff are incredible. Their professionalism, knowledge, and care for all the clients were very much felt. It was a very smooth transition for me adjusting to life in the house. I was certainly nervous and anxious at the beginning, but the staff and my peers helped me feel comfortable right from the beginning. Having support staff and nurses available 24 hours a day was very comforting.

I'll start by saying that the staff and councillors at this facility are both professional and down to earth. They helped diagnose past and recent traumas that were hindering me in a proper recovery, that of which I had at one point and was truly interested in keeping ongoing in my life. The help and tools that I have received in the past 60 days will keep me present in my mind and aware of the recovery I truly deserve. I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with any issues that they are willing to deal with in our troubling society.
