★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's just so fun. I've been a performer here for about 12 years and always look forward to it. Getting to have a taste of so many cultures is truly a special gift to appreciate new cultures and to share my own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever. Hawrelak park always have a huge parking lot. Closed during the festival.
It’s like opening a brand new store with no products provided.
When store is closed, all products are available.
The point is, why there is parking lots when there is no festival? But on a festival it’s closed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a really great event but transportation was really slow. 30+ minutes to get on a bus to the festival. Even though there were 4 empty buses waiting to be filled they did one at time. On the way out the lineup for the bus was ridiculous and the organizers only let co-op cabs in. Co-op cabs wouldn’t give us a ride. We ended up walking up groat road to a spot where Uber could get to us.
Be prepared, especially if you have kids, for a long wait in/out. We used the MacEwan bus which seemed particularly bad compared to some of the other bus routes.
Highlight was the Russian dancing but tons of things to see and do!

Salute to all volunteers and organizers who make this happen successful and trouble free.
Seeing different cultures so closely give very good impact.
Lots of things to learn from.
Park is big enough to hold such big crowd.
Lastly ETS and Edmonton police make big difference.

You can see and visit pavilions for almost 60 countries of the World.
Enjoy their Food and get Experience of their culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now that people complain about parking, expensive tidbits, why not find a new venue to have this event. Now take a look at Elk Island Park, plenty of room there, why not book this location and make the event successful instead of a bad experience as I have been reading thus far. It is located east of city limits, near the Ukraine establishment off Highway 16. This is a national park and better suits the event.

We were a world apart.
