Hi. I'm a flyer carrier who works for the Edmonton Flyer Force. To everyone angry about recieving flyers even when you've asked not to recieve them, your best bet is speaking to the carrier personally; I have an app on my phone to mark houses on my route and I'd be more than happy to update my route. Contacting me personally will--obviously--not transfer to the next carrier. If you're concerned about paper, you're extremely correct. I frequently get an entire recycling bag worth of excess flyers that I cannot deliever as I don't deliever to that many houses. Essentially, your fears are justified. About the job itself, it's fair. The pay is absolutely horrid, and it's frequently getting lower and lower as the flyer force scrambles to not collapse completely. Get this job if you want a job. There is no interview, there is no strict time limit, (even though they say Thursday at 8pm, what are they gonna do?) the job is tedious but brain-dead simple. Get this job if you want work experience on your resume, new to the work-force, and don't have connections.

For months their carrier had been leaving flyers on my gate. When I contacted them to complain a man came to my home and told me there was no way they could be left on my fence/gate. One time it rained and the soggy mewprint got stuck in the boards, i had to wait a couple days for it tobdry out so o could pick iy out. Even after I provided photos I never got an apology however the carrier actually puts the flyers in my mailbox now. But again I don't like being called a liar.

I have requested THREE separate times for the delivery my flyers to stop. I even put a sign up to stop the delivery. However, either the person does not read it or cannot read it. I do not appreciate all the killing of trees with these flyers and as I get all my information via the internet or email, I do not want or need these flyers. They go straight into the recycle box and I do not even look at them. Also - I usually get them Saturday morning and this week it was all about Black Friday so I could not even use the flyers if I wanted to.

I complained yesterday (Friday July 29th) that our Spruce Grove Examiner and flyers had not been delivered. Was told in response that the delivery people had until 8pm to deliver them. A complaint could not be raised until after then. In response I said I would call tomorrow if they had still not been delivered. Saturday morning still no flyers. Kicker is that Flyer Force is closed at weekends so I cannot even raise a complaint until Monday and what use are flyers on a Monday ??

I have asked several times for the delivery of flyers to my home to be stopped and yet they keep showing up. Stop littering on my property, we are not interested in your junk mail. This should be opt in not opt out. If I continue to get flyers I am tempted to gather them all up and return them to your offices. Absolutely obnoxious and useless company. If I could give negative stars I would.

It's great that they give people second chances when they mess up but my flyers come late if they come at all, the carrier cuts across everyone's grass, and it's pretty obvious he only delivers to those who complain and nobody else. I've complained many times and guess who's still delivering- the same guy. See you on Saturday or later, flyer guy... The two stars are for the professional 5 star service I get from customer service but this dude should have been fired months ago and it brings the rating way down.

This company is so shady. I have called multiple times to cancel delivery and they ignore the request. I have placed a β€œno flyers please” on my mailbox. I went to the office and they do not receive the public due to β€œCOVID-19 β€œ protocols. When I went to the shipping a d receiving area- I was told by an employee that anyone wishing to cancel delivery services must be told to leave the property. It is obvious that they realize that their business plan is antiquated and is no longer used by the vast majority of people. This type of advertising is no longer in line with green initiatives. I puts unnecessary burden on our waste facilities that we pay for. Why our city allows them to operate here is a complete mystery to me. It’s time that this company is mandated to deliver only to addresses that specifically request the service. If the companies using this type of marketing realized how much of a waste it really was they might make better decisions for themselves and the communities they rely on to buy their products.

They are consistently inconsistent. The flyers are not coming every week. Also, the flyers don't come on a regular day. Sometimes Tuesday, other times Thursday or maybe Friday, depending on their mood I suppose. Oh well, the routes pay very little too!
