★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an unsupervised microdermabrasion on Feb 15 by a student who was not properly trained and only started her classes in December. I left with a huge red irritation on my decollete and a scrape on my neck - after exactly 5 mins of the painful experience I asked if the supervisor would be joining us soon so the student went off to look for her. The supervisor Jazz came in and apologized explaining they were short staffed and she was in an exam (would have been nice if someone contacted me to reschedule or warn me) she proceeded to correct the student as the student took another pass on my face. it was clear the student needed guidance and further training, even the second time around she still didn't cover my entire face and attempted to work on my neck which was excruciating as she was told she was tugging the the wrong way. Thankfully she didn't do my entire neck either . The student was lovely and I don't blame her at all. I blame the school for allowing an unsupervised, new student to perform a potentially damaging technique on a client without supervision. The only way I would ever return is if the mark on my neck doesn't heal- and it wouldn't be for another treatment. Beware and spend the extra money to go to an actual clinic with trained staff. It was a waste of money and time but most importantly it was an excruciating experience which caused damage to my skin.
