โ โ โ โ โ This company is a scam. They came to our door around 8pm and made it seem as if they worked for Fortis, showed us a copy of a Fortis bill and said ours should have a similar notation.
They said we needed to sign to ice into a lower gas rate. If you google this company they have terrible reviews and actually charge more then Fortis. Do not sign with this company!

โ โ โ โ โ Scam, stay away they'll get you to sign a contract saying it's not locking you into anything. The salesperson will make it sound like the form you're signing is just for further communication with a salesrep that will call you. But it is actually a full-fledged contract that you will get stuck into if you don't cancel within the first 10 days.
Edit with Easy Energy response: They will not address the fact that their door-to-door salesmen will get you to sign a contract by skirting over details saying that there's no cost to sign up and you have the option to choose them or Fortis. If you actually read the contract, it is locking you into a 5 year term that is much higher than the Fortis rate. If you don't email them within 10 days of signing to cancel you're stuck in the contract or have to pay a exorbitant fee to get out of it. This is a predatory company do not trust them. The salespeople are good at skirting around the fact that you're signing a contract. If they come to your door, just don't answer or tell them to go away. You will not save money by signing with this company. The 5 star reviews I bet are paid reviews as can be seen by the fact that their are so many reviews with negative experiences. Shameful company, and shameful tactics.

โ โ โ โ โ The rep was super friendly, i think the management behind the company and the misleading tactics are to blame, they bring in young kids and dangle a life of success infront of there eyes promising riches when in fact its only to fatten there own pockets, willing to screw customers and there own employees. The worst is they know what there doing. Make sure you look at the fine print of what your signing. The only way i was able to exit this monstrosity of a company was to threaten with the BC utilities commission.fortis rate is 4.50 and easys rate is 8$ per GJโฆโฆ.. like come on.. if were not in a pandemic and these larger companies find there angle to destroy us even more.

โ โ โ โ โ People in the last 15 months has tripled in price look at the bills and with no end insight of rising gas in the future your safest bet is to lock in your prices. I was skeptical at first but after watching the forward trend in rising prices I thought the safest bet would be to lock in. I locked in with easy energy a year ago and now Iโm glad that I did. Thanks easy energy

They send some kids for door sale during windy rainy day to make you feel bad and you will sign the contract with your sympathy without noticing that you are being mislead! They will tell you that you are paying much higher rate now, they can guarantee for a period with low rate! Until you notice, the back office will tell you that u are unable to cancel the contract with very rude and mean tone! And they demanded to charge you extra for service fee! It is unethical and unbelievably this business still survives in market!

โ โ โ โ โ They were going door-to-door in my neighbourhood. The representative was very misleading (implied they were with Fortis) and wouldn't give me an opportunity to read over their company info or contract even when I asked. Note, you have 10 days to opt-out.
The 5 stars reviews on this company appear to be bought. If you look into any of the reviewers' profiles, they all review the same handful of companies with 5 stars. Look at the BBB for more reviews.

โ โ โ โ โ They really.make you think they are out to save you money and lock you in at a great rate, however, this is not the case. They also lead you to believe that they are part of Fortis. Do not sign anything they text you or email you, you will be locked in and have to pay a penalty to get out of the contract. The voices on the phone are very nice, friendly and persuasive, don't fall for it.

โ โ โ โ โ Easy Energy has saved me money on the cost of gas after the 6 month mark. The program's benefit takes into effect by working similar to futures stock. You may not see the benefit instantly but it is intended to work somewhat as like a long-term investment. Unfortunately it seems a lot of people aren't fully knowledgeable about the gas industry and how the gas is actually sourced and supplied. I currently am saving more money as the price of natural gas go up and I am nearing my renewal date next year.
