Dr Rana and all the staffs are amazing. They gave the best advice and only recommended what is required.

As someone with a history of self-oral-neglect, trauma and anxiety from past dentists, I can’t express enough of my gratitude and high praise for all the staff and Dr. Rana ? they are all so professional, educational, knowledgeable, gentle, kind, warm and welcoming, calming, compassionate and considerate. Dr.Rana is a modern oral master who is passionate about surgery, up to date technology and knowledge, so he can offer his patients superior care. His wit and humour is also delightful ? I felt happy, grateful, proud and at ease leaving every appointment, and dare I say, for the first time in my life, I’m now looking forward to my future dentist appointments ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A little background... I had not seen a dentist for over 7 years due to my phobias. last year I brought my step son in for his appointment (he has been seeing Dr. Rana most of his young life), and was amazed with the whole vibe of the office and professional yet gentle conduct of Dr. Rana. So I thought, it’s time to take care of myself - this is the place where my experiences could be different from the past. And they have been ?%. The office staff have been wonderfully informative about insurance and procedures. Dr. Rana takes the time to ask me if I’m ok and is sensitive about my anxieties, respecting my request to have ear pods for music and always making sure I’m comfortable, informed and actually lifts my spirit up with compassion, understanding and taking time to educate. ? it feels really good to be ‘adulting’ and finally taking care of myself in my 40’s. I tribute a lot of that courage I was able to muster up to East York Dental ♥️ thank you!

Dr. Rana is hands down the best dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few! Always well looked after by him and his team. Would highly recommend ?

I have not been back to this dental office in many years, I am speaking on an experience that happened many years ago. I use to be a loyal customer to this dental office. I also had dental insurance as well. Near the end towards the expiration of my insurance I booked a final dental cleaning where I was advised that I needed two fillings done. During my filing appointment with Dr.Rana, he advised me that I had two additional cavities that he would complete within the same 1 hour appointment (Please keep in mind it is hard to decline or speak while the dentist has your mouth open during drilling). All “four” cavities were completed in one hour. The following week, 2 of those filings had fallen out and I needed to go back for him to fix again. The 2 filings itself took one hour. They also billed my insurance in advance to have my crown fixed when I persistently told them I did not want to as I did not have any problems with it. To this day, my crown is perfectly fine still. The following year my other cavity filings had fallen out and I paid out of pocket to get them fixed at a different dental clinic. Even though this happened years ago, I still cringe at the thought of my experience. I do not come from a wealthy family and have always had to work hard for the things I need and want. Dental work is not cheap and not everyone is fortunate to have dental insurance.

Dr. Rana and the staff at EYDC are top notch, they have been my primary dentist for the last year or so and they manage to make every visit comfortable. Aside from regular cleanings, I have also had to make a last minute visit for jaw pain, and I was very pleased that they were able to make time for me, to examine the issue, answer my questions and provide the solution. Dr. Rana does excellent work that exceeds my expectations every time I visit, and always has lively conversation to go along with it. I highly recommend giving them a call for any dental needs.

Dr Rana was extremely patient with me, a person super scared of the dentist. He made sure I was comfortable at all times and I really appreciated it. Will be coming back in the future.

Lovely friendly staff, efficient and helpful. I came in as a first time walk-in and the staff put me at ease very quickly with their patience and kind natures. My first appointment a week later was a full assessment with financial breakdown of work that was to be done., and first dental appointment couldn’t have been easier. Dr. Rama did a beautiful job on two teeth…it was a painless procedure and I couldn’t be happier. A Great neighbourhood find !!!

I have always had deep fear of the dentist. THIS team is amazing, all are welcoming and so warm when you attend. I've have experienced them go out of their way to make sure I get the care I need for my health and my fear. Everyone makes time to have that human to human conversation, even though they're all busy and doing multiple things at once. Super flexible on working with you for payment plans and connecting with your benefits providers. I wish I could add glitter to these stars to make them stand out more.
